Obviously War cry does other thingsI think it's disingenuous to say that War Cry generates more resources though, if you're facing only a single mob they're like the same, and against even 4-5 provoke is basically full wrath.
Besides the resource generation the skills are 100% different so who cares.
Well I was typing that under the impression that you'd use the rune that causes war cry to give 50 fury, because well, it's really fucking strong. So not really.
But you are right though, the skills are pretty different which is why I share some of the same concerns as toasty. Basically, fuck cooldowns on abilities. Makes me a bit worried about crusader in some ways, but, obviously I can't know until I am max level and out there killing shit. It's actually kind of bothered me in this thread when people link crusader builds and 4 of the abilities have fairly long cooldowns (like 15+ seconds).
Cooldown reduction is a stat. If you hate cool downs, go get 80% reduction. The mystic is your friend, let's you reroll to get any stat you want.

I'm pretty bummed to hear the XP nerf is having such a drastic effect on legit leveling of new chars. Barely being 10 on hard by the time you kill skeleton king is just dumb shit that Blizzard should have noticed before pushing out a knee-jerk nerf.
I'm cool with cooldowns and everything, but if a skill has a cooldown why does it need a wrath cost as well.
Falling sword has a 30 second cooldown and 25 wrath cost. The wrath cost is almost completely pointless due to the cooldown and I haven't' had to think about it whilst playing.
Agreed. You used to get that on NORMAL before killing the skeleton king back in the original beta. You can't even get him to drop a legendary unless you acn get to 11. Yeah, I'll play on more than hard on my paragon'd up hellfire ring etc etc main account, but that's pretty brutal for newbies.
Bounties reward an insane amount of exp for low level chars. That's just another "pre-ros" problem.

Does anyone know if Adventure Mode is unlocked for all characters after one finishes Act V or must it be unlocked per-character?

Does anyone know if the gear we'll be finding and using at level 70 is going to be item level 71,72,73?
Because you can reduce certain skills to a below 1 second cooldown with cooldown reduction stat. Then the skill would just be free. That makes no sense, they need a resource cost.
Also I don't get why people hate cooldowns. It's the normal in almost every game, and it's been fine in Diablo 3. They even made ways to remove cooldowns on skills with RoS, it seems like a none issue...

Co-Op. I always do leveling campaigns co-op. Ill probably run through it on easy Torment 1. Im not terribly interested in making it challenging, I just want to clear Act 5 so I can open up the Adventure mode, THEN ill crank the difficulty. Ill be facerolling T1 though at midnight to unlock it.

I am pretty sure they did away with that system which is why Rares are so lackluster in 2.0 right (most 1H weapons roll ilvl60 stats for example). You will be getting ilvl 70 items at lvl 70.

First thing i am doing is rolling a Crusader but when i do get to new act i will solo because i like to take my time and explore on my first play through on everything and everyone i know doesn't give a shit about the diablo story. They just want to burn through, grind to 70 and farm.
I wish people would actually, you know, read what I write and what I have said in the past before calling into question my intentions. How is supporting him, as I have always done, starting shit?

Well I will tell you why, it has nothing to do with the abilities themselves having a cooldown and everything to do with how those abilities are designed. There is a lot of skills in D3 that have cooldowns on them that don't really interact with your other abilities. I just find abilities like that to be very boring to use since it's just another button you are pushing and it takes up a slot another ability could have. Having played a significant amount of time on every class in the game (outside of crusader obviously) I've always found myself bored with abilities like SSS, EQ, and RoV. Seeing cooldowns on so many crusader abilities just makes me worried that they are designed in a similar vein, cause honestly that would make the class pretty boring for me.

Yea I pretty much avoid abilities with CD unless they are super powerful.
Dashing Strike technically has a CD but it will always be on my skill bar. It has too much utility.
Inner Sanctuary is on a CD but it's extremely powerful now and you generally get to have at least one activation per Elite fight which is where you need it the most.
SSS however sucks and I want this skill to be good. Yea it does huge damage and you are invulnerable during it but the CD is too much and it also costs Spirit. IMO the Spirit cost should be removed from this skill as well as all other high CD skills. Many high CD skills do not in fact have a resource cost like Rain of Vengeance.

You are missing the point they can be removed.
This Daibo and one piece of gear with reduce cooldown and seven sided strikes is now 10 seconds instead of 30. Want an even lower cooldown? Use mystic and to put it in every piece of your gear.
Stuff like that is awesome in RoS. You can change your play style dramatically, and the ability to have almost no cooldown on your "huge abilities" is an awesome gear choice compared to "I want critical hit chance".
Edit: I missed your point you find seven sided strikes boring. But I just disagree on that, what makes it more boring than bells or a different damaging skill.
