SSJ4 Gogeta?
Titan is a semi-pro card. Many consider it a really, really cheap pro card. Great for freelancers on a tight budget. That's my first thought with this product but the fact that they are using the Titan name has me concerned. They've typically used different branding for professional products.
It's CPU bound, cmon now.I'm calling it now, it can't run arma 3 at more than 30fps on multiplayer.
What are you proposing? Preventing gamers from buying it? Obviously some will buy it.A $3000 graphics card? For certain applications, sure, why not. We already have more expensive options available.
Hopefully nobody gets the idea that selling a product like this to gamers is even remotely acceptable, however. GPU prices are already higher than ever and certainly don't need to keep climbing.

Exactly.Smokey!!!!

If they slapped Quadro on it, then they might be driving away the gamer market though, as the Quadros typically have their own (non-GeForce) drivers. And there might be some perception that they're not really optimized for gaming and a bit gimpy compared to the equivalent GeForce version of that GPU as a result.Yeah, if they had slapped the Quadro name on this and said it was the new premium line noone would really make such a big deal about the price. I guess they want to get some of the consumer market wanting to jump in on this one with the Titan branding.
I don't like the idea of it setting a precedent potentially driving GPU prices even higher. What are you proposing? Preventing gamers from buying it? Obviously some will buy it.
SLI configuration...
6 grand for gpus alone lol.
Just wait 6 months, it'll be 25% cheaper then.
But what other components do you need? What kinda PS?
I'm curious why this exists? what's the use of it? what games exist that would take advantage of this hardware? and by the time those games do exist, this level of hardware will be much cheaper.
They already exist, 4 Titans. Can't wait for the quad SLI benchmarks.
How much power does this need ?
Also confirms that it's a dual gpu. Wow that's a pretty sucky card then.http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2014/03/25/titan-z/
Definitley a "gaming" product. A pretty foolish one at that. 5k gaming lol

Is $2,999 really that bad when you factor in your heating bill savings?
PC gaming gives you choices.Nobody ever said PC gaming was cheap! Well, except everybody.
People who buy cards like this would then sell them and upgrade for a small fee. You're not married to your hardware. So not only dual GPU solution, but also based on Kepler and not Maxwell.
I really, really feel sorry for everyone who'll buy that card when high-end Maxwell reaches market.
You'd actually reduce power consumption compared to your two 580s.Is $2,999 really that bad when you factor in your heating bill savings?
Someone explain how powerful this is in DBZ terms.

They can kindly fuck right off.
This kind of bullshit is making me want to get an AMD for my next card.
No way. Avatar bet on this one.An 880s gonna be more powerful
Three Titans. So do I buy one of these or three titans as a gamer?
The way Nvidia top card prices keep increasing (gtx 590 too card was $750 3 years ago) I predict Nvidia's top cards will be anywhere between $6000-$12,000 in another 3 years.
Sadly This should be sarcasm but I'm not so sure anymore...
