Don´t get one thing. I´ve havn´t read too many comics but... isn´t Quicksilver Magnetos son? Or are there continuities where he isn´t?

Last movie I saw that had Kashmir playing in a trailer was John Carter, and that was one of the best of that year. Really looking forward to this.

Looks like the International Trailer has a couple different shots interspersed throughout.

Edit, I'm also getting a sneaking suspicion we're going to find out the First Class continuity is actually a completely different universe than the main Singer films. I could be wrong, but I could see it happening, especially if "Age of Apocalypse" is a direction we're going to be going next.

Yep... International trailer is heaps better!!

Most hyped movie of the year for me

I always wondered, why did they include Juggernout in that movie. I know that the movie universe is full of inconsistences, but Juggernout not being a mutant, and instead being a mutant hater, is a basic info. So including him fighting alongside Magneto seemed really weird. :/

I always found Sentinels being so huge (they were the size of a block of flat in the cartoon) as a stupid design. In a "realistic" environment, having them moving around a city would quickly lead to a disaster, lots of damaged properties and civilians being stepped on. Them being only slightly bigger than a human is much more useful.

nobody involved in that film did the slightest bit of research.

I have a theory about those couple scenes of Xavier walking...

First is pretty obvious, I think. He's basically messing with everyone's mind, making them think they're seeing him walking, likely due out of some kind of shame of his current state. Atleast at the start, but then "reveals himself" soon after.

The second time is when they're in the prison busting out Magneto. In the first X-Men, he can telepathically control people. I imagine he's taken control of a guard or an agent or something, and are simply having McCavoy stand-in for that guard who is essentially Xavier. I mean it makes sense to me. Why try and sneak someone in as a "man on the inside" when you can just take control of someone already inside?

The trailer worked even if the Kashmir music used reminded of Emmerich's Godzilla (Come with me!!!!) from 1998. Though I might be the only one to be fair.

Though I liked the trailer I still can't shake the feeling that this film is going to be ten minutes of 'future war' at the start and then 'meh inducing' action for the rest of the film ending with a five minute 'future wrap up' at the end.

I'll still be there regardless but this isn't the First Class sequel that I wanted and I don't think it's going to be anywhere near as enjoyable at the first one.

That was actually extremely dull. No one wants to see a '"putting the team together" montage. We had one of those in First Class. It wasn't good. It's such a lazy way of introducing and establishing character. And how many motherfucking "Hindsight is funny because I'm from the future" jokes are there packed into this trailer?

If this film isn't just by-the-numbers crud then the trailers have done a ruthless job of sucking the life out of it. Why is the Magneto/Xavier feud played down? That's the most interesting part.

That is...actually pretty good.

So Wolverine isn't coated with adamantium yet from what we see in the trailer. How the fuck is that going to work? This seems like a one way trip

I think he was sent back inside his younger self.

Still, punching a Sentinel with bone claws looks painful.

He is. But considering this is possibly a one way trip, he'd have to subject himself to the whole process again knowing all the shit he's going to have to go through.

Super hype for this film. Sucks that they don't send Bishop back though. IIRC what I liked about the cartoon version was that he was sent back to kill the x-men and you're never quite sure which side he's on. Now it's basically go back in time, rally the troops trope.

I laughed at the Welcome mat being worn down in a single line down the center at Quicksilver's house. That's really stupid. I guess they're implying that he runs across it all the time? Like his door is always wide open for him to do that? There's also a step at the door. I guess he just trips over that every time.

That's probably more because of quickly wiping shoes than running through.

Wiping his feet. The past stuff looks like a completely different movie than teh future stuff. Well catch on Blu Ray.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah unless he finds another amnesia bullet he's gonna really mess up his timeline.

Welp, here comes the marketing blitz.

Another two featurettes were just put up on Fox's youtube channel.

Remember, this is the most expensive non-Cameron film FOX has ever made.

I didn't realize that. It certainly doesn't come off that way.
