US PS Plus May (Stick it to the Man, PES 2014, Limbo, Puppeteer)

Since besides I still have a PS3 but am not playing it anymore, that was a pretty weak month for me. I was expecting something good for Vita! :/

As a Vita owner, for that console, this month is pretty bad. I was hoping to get Muramasa and not that cheap puzzle game. At least Limbo is ok (besides still not so good since its an old indie game that have already been sold with many disccounts).

Stick it to the Man, Puppeteer, and Limbo are great, but I already played em. :/

Mildly curious about Surge Deluxe, because FuturLab.

PES? ugh that's gonna be about 5 games in the last few months I wont even bother downloading

I already own Puppeteer and Skullgirls since when they were on sale so literally nothing for me this month

Pretty bad month for me. I was really hoping for Muramasa and Hot Shots.
Already have Skullgirls on PC but nice to get it on PS3 too, so there's that.

Made the mistake of purchasing puppeteer during a flash sale. Can't wait for all you suckers to be sorely disappointed. Mhuaha!

I already have Puppeteer and Limbo, but I can't even feel bad for buying them, as they were 7 and 3 dollars respectively. This is like the 3rd month in a row that I own most of the ps+ titles already though. :(

I love PS+ but it really sucks that it makes people feel bad for buying things. I'm not sure how to feel about that

Yeah, I got 15 months free for buying the white 500 GB super slim last year. Because, you know, I just had to have it in white and wanted the HDD upgrade.

At any rate, it is the opposite for me. I still buy new games and spend more time with those than I do anything I have got from Plus. Sure, it is a fantastic value, but I'm finding that most of the offerings are games that I either already own, have already played, or just have no interest in. No guilt here, and I'll be letting my subscription expire next month.

Puppeteer (PS3)
Pro Evo Soccer 2014 (PS3)
Surge Deluxe (Vita)
Limbo (Vita)- used to be crossbuy but the developer removed that (http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/PS+Vita/Limbo/news.asp?c=54620), so Vita only

That damn PS3 backlog will never be gone...

Dying to play Limbo, I dismissed it when it was X360 only and never got around to it on PC/iOS or PS3, now I get a chance, good things come to those who wait.

Very cool month for me.

So was the Vita when it got Uncharted and Gravity Daze. Let's be frank, they aren't putting any retail games on it because they know they don't absolutely have to.

PSN+ on Vita launched in November, 9 months after the console was launched. So I really don't see your point.

You pay for early access to those games, basically. I bought Skullgirls at full price, and I have zero regrets. I have some fantastic memories with that game, and I continue to enjoy it.

I think the folks who really regret their purchases are those who buy something on sale and then don't play it due to backlog. Then, it is free on PS+ before they get around to it. I think those people just need to learn to control their spending. I don't see why someone would buy a game like Puppeteer without any intention to play it in the next month or so. The game's value will only go down.

I've never heard of Stick it to the Man before, but if it's about impaling cops with various sharp objects, then count me in.

What's the word on Pro Evo Soccer? I've never really played a football game before and would like to get into one.

see how much pes 2013 is going for, it's by far the better game even if you have to actually pay money to buy it. if you want some casual fun maybe try the new world cup game, but not for it's full price. for (kinda) old school fun, buy any of pes's 4 to 6.

Stick it to the Man (PS4)
Puppeteer (PS3)
Skullgirls Encore (PS3)
Pro Evo Soccer 2014 (PS3)
Surge Deluxe (Vita)
Limbo (Vita)- used to be crossbuy but the developer removed that (http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/PS+Vita/Limbo/news.asp?c=54620), so Vita only

Not a great month for Vita, but that is certainly a interesting mix of games for PS3. Surprised/happy that a sports game is finally coming for free though!

First time I don't think I'll be playing a single one of these. I already have Puppeteer, and I'm an arachnophobe so I'm not touching Limbo.

Not bad for PS3. I've been wanting to get more into soccer. I'll definitely see if I can get into the game and learn the basics of the sport from there. Skullgirls is a nice add too.

When are we getting Catherine and Metal Gear Rising though?

Puppeteer and Skullgirls for me. I saw an entire page on the EU PS+ of people saying the were excited to finally play Stick it to the Man. Not a single person bothered mentioning just the damn genre the game was. So I searched it up...it doesn't look all that great. 3 months in a row now of meh games on PS4. I'll still download it, but Sony needs to start having something on the same level as Resogun again soon.

How is Stick it to the Man anyways? It seemed pretty eccentric and neat when I was Giantbomb play it, but that's the last time I heard anyone talk about it.

Finally a month where I don't own any PS3 game. BTW is Puppeteer any good??

PROS: Gorgeous, top tier art direction and graphics. Very nice OST. High quality voice acting, scissors are fun to use.

CONS: Disappointing use of the various heads, cutscenes can go on for too long, basic platforming.

It's the best PES ever made, still a lot of people like Fifa more.
I like both but tend to have more fun playing PES with friends.

Overcome your fears, man. It's a great game.

It's worth trying for sure. It wears out its welcome a bit, but artistically, it's very nice.

Never cared for Skullgirls' style, but happy to play it via Plus. Wouldn't have bought it otherwise.

I just bought Skullgirls Encore a few days ago. I don't know how to feel about this!

Rest of the selection looks boring. I was excited when I saw Limbo in the title (would be a good excuse to replay it) but then it was Vita only. Bleh.

To anyone interested in picking up Skullgirls...

Be sure to download the Squigly character unlock now, as her free period will expire before the game goes free on PS+.

You don't know how to feel about how something makes other people feel?

There's really no downside to PS+.

Nice protip... thanks!

Blah. Boring PS+ month for me. And disappointed we didn't get Muramasu (sp?). Mainly cause it looks far more interesting than the games the US PS+ got this month for Vita (I wasn't super interested in it but for free I would have tried it out).

I just bought Muramasa last week. So in a way I'm kinda relieved it's not on there. Still kind of a weak week though. The only thing i really want is Puppeteer.
