Hmm. Well my thoughts can basically be summed up as "Yup, that's Borderlands made by the Halo guys," and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. It's certainly not some revolution in games as it was posited to be. The art style and the visuals were great, but I thought the music (what was that brass all about?) and voiceover kind of sucked: it felt very impersonal. They're trying to build a world here but I only got the impression the world is a thin wrapper for the gameplay rather than something that is integral to the experience.
