One thing anyway: story and characters relationship are part of the gameplay, you can't just take them out. Hopefully I will not read complaints about the slow pacing in some parts.
Because they just have to show the improvements and not the mechanics that we already know. Now that they're going gold and everything is done, they'll release something just before the release.

I forgot there was multiplayer DLC. Even better.
I think the main reason people feel like it's not worth the price is because of how recently the original came out. Had they sat on this for another year I doubt there would be nearly as many complaints.

Great. Now release it early because there are zero retail titles out in the UK in the whole of July for either console.

- jump from 30 to 60fps
- better antialiasing
- better models
- better textures
- better world assets where avaiable [those that were made for PS3 cinematics are not integrated into playable PS4 gameworld]
- better lightning/particles/blur/other effects
- added all DLC MP maps and DLC singleplayer expansion "Left Behind"
- faster load times
- $50

Umm...that wasn't really the point of my post. I plan on buying it day one even with out any comparison. My thoughts is that the initial game was pretty well publicized up to and after the release. So far ND and Sony have been pretty silent on info about the remaster. Those who don't follow games like most do on GAF may have heard about it, but there's not much enticing them to buy the game because there are no meaningful comparisons or footage to show why consumers should buy this game for the PS4 (if they are new users) or to even upgrade if they've already played on the PS3.
I think the majority of us are calm...it's more that we find it odd that there hasn't been much of any real comparison footage or PR to speak of outside of the leak, the initial trailer, and the brief nod at E3.

Did anyone consider that since the game is so close to done, there's probably a VERY small team still working on it as the rest are busy with Uncharted 4 and whatever else ND might be doing.
God forbid their priority be on polishing and testing the game rather than cutting a trailer together.

The programmers would not be cutting the trailer. This would be done by the community arm or by the marketing team that gets a build.

ND bosses said in interview that small core team is making this Remaster. Majority of team is on U4.
