Kirby Fighters Z (and DeDeDe's Drum Dash Z) announced for Japan (3DS DL)

So from what I gathered the powers are
  • Cutter
  • Beam
  • Sword
  • Parasol
  • Ninja
  • Bomb
  • Fighter
  • Archer
  • Whip
  • Bell
  • Beetle
I hope that is not everything, I love the wing and wheel powers so much and I find it odd that fire, freeze or spark are not on the list.

Holy shit @ the 3D Butter Building stage. Now there's something I would have never expected to see again.

Hopefully this has online, but I'll probably buy it either way. DeDeDe too!

I see. Anyone interested in this should seriously get Triple Deluxe instead if they don't have it. It's a fantastic game, and it basically comes with almost everything in the fighting game already from the looks of it.

750 yen? Eh... I guess it's cool for those who don't have Triple Deluxe, but most of it is recycled content.

I might bite when it comes to NA just to play the new stages, although I would have preferred lower-priced DLC rather.

Sounds great, but this should be a $1 game if there's no online. You already offered me this in a $35 package, not paying $8 for the same shit again.

Dedede's Drum Dash
-7 new stages, plus 7 unlockable 'ura' stages
-Some drums will flip to a beat, revealing spikes on the under side
-Numbered coins which give a bonus when collected in order
-Healing rings to revive health
-Symbols make an appearance, stricking them will reveal a Musical Note Coin
-Some other new things in stages
-Unlock masks to wear while playing
-Replay mode
-Kirby, Waddledee and Meta Knight masks exclusive to those who have Triple Deluxe and Streetpass for that game turned on.

Had a feeling these would become more fleshed out. Now let's get those Kirby Mass Attack minigames on the eShop!
Oh hell yes! If they could go back and do the same for Mass Attack, and put Strato Patrol EOS on the eShop with extra levels, I would explode with happiness! :D Of course, it won't really ever happen since Mass Attack was a DS game, but if it does... :O

Heh, cool.

It's too bad that you can only be Kirby, and not also the enemies the powers actually come from. I'd love to see the helpers take part too.

Cool. Hopefully it'll be released here in euroland as well. I already have triple deluxe but my sons love Kirby fighters so I want to buy it for their ds' so they can play multi.

So Kirby Fighters doesn't have online or any new abilities? What's the point, then?

Might still pick it up. I did really enjoy that minigame and I wanted them to flesh it out. But...why local only?

Kirby Fighters Z has a single player mode. Did the fighting game in Triple Deluxe have single player as well? (I haven't played TD yet)

I can't say that I found either minigame enjoyable enough to warrant me getting either of these nor does the added content seem enough but it's interesting to see them expand upon the minigames.

Drum Dash was really awesome once you got the hang of it. Still, only 7 new stages? (I'm guessing the "Ura" stages are just harder versions of the same stage, with the same music.) That doesn't seem like enough content to justify the price tag.

This reminds me, I should really buy Triple Deluxe at some point. I like the idea of selling updated versions of particular minigames if you're not a fan of the main Kirby game.
