Man, what's up with Sony? They were on fire for almost a year, then--suddenly--I'm becoming more and more disappointed with what they are doing. It feels like Nintendo is the only one of the three to be doing things right. Never thought I'd say that in 2014.

The crosshair in the "O" is not a font. It's an element of a logo.

I'm really not sure where everyone's coming from saying "it's just a font who cares." Someone at Insomniac put a lot of effort into creating a specific typeface for this game logo, if someone used the Super Mario font in an advertisement, Nintendo would have right to make a stink as well.

It's proprietary. That's why you have to pay for fonts.

Artist created a piece of funky art and needed a font to go with it. Did some searching through a catalog/site with some fonts, found one that he/she liked and fit the artwork, and picked it. That's probably all it was.

Yeah,a free font called Overdrive Sunset a week before their largest competitor releases one of their big exclusives for the holiday season that uses the same font. No way this could be anything but a coincidence!!!
