I was there, it was me in the tank.I need to take a similar picture of the one I had taken about a year ago in GTAO, but on PS4 this time.
With the new graphics and effects in play, should be realy nice.

Finally finished the story again last night. Will probably 100% then finally get some online action in! Excited to play with people.

First time I played GTA 5 online last night. In fact, I didn't even bother with the story and went straight into online mode.
Well, I did have to play the prologue part first. Retried like more than 5 times on the bank heist...And brought Swiss cheese car back to Simone..
So... What do I in GTA online? I see that killing pedestrian and causing damage increases my psych or something.
I played a couple of races which I won (mainly cause other players dropped out in the third lap).
What's the fastest way to level up? What jobs to do? How do I get my returning player bonus? (i loaned a PS3 copy to create an online account, so I'm still pretty new to this).
I think reallllly suck at this.

given it is a bit broken, unless you team up with friends in your own server and do jobs (races or missions) together, I would say free roam is pointless atm.
You either troll another player, or get trolled trying to do something by yourself. Going to a map icon is basically suggesting a co-op task to the server, which they mostly ignore or you just get one random which becomes a bit too personal really.
If you do team up, bang, the game dumps you out after a while, then you start again alone or with other randoms.
if you want to increase your skills non organically there are guides, it involves grinding.
even a big crew like ign i see a host invites "everyone online in the crew" to a job and the long list of red invites just sit there.

The sad part is that I'm in GMT+8 timezone. So there's only like less than 10 GAFfers online.
I'm glad that the servers are actually working now and I can find matches.
I think GTA Online really doesn't get the appreciation it deserves when it works (which admittedly is a problem). There's so much to do both with people and even by yourself if R* keeps putting more effort into GTA:O it could last the entire generation. There's co-op missions, races (land/sea/air), PvP modes, CTF modes, freestyle mayhem, hold-ups, Flight School, a bunch of other activities like darts and tennis, stealing cars for profit, buying property, the list goes on and on. All of this in a huge open world with an excellent soundtrack and great graphics. Every time I get into a random job with people I don't care what it is I have a good time.
Flight School is kicking my ass now however. I'm doing the fly low mission and it took me like 50 tries until I got real far into it and the course takes you through a million wind turbines!! GAH Fuck that!

i just did all the flight school, flying low was probably the hardest bronze. Getting all 30 targets in the last mission in a gold time? wtf.
online is still messed up though. My online world froze. all cars and pedestrians vanished all 23 players - statues. I could drive around empty streets though. Los Santos was a ghost town..

I actually found Flight School to be easier than last Gen, I received gold on every challenge except the helicopter section which
I hate, since it feels like I can't maintain top speed for more than a few seconds.

Go for gold in the low altitude mission, it's awesome. I hate the flag collecting mission, too.
Don't have the problem. I have no delay.
Yeah I remember the single player flight school was super easy last gen.
Online flight school will teach you more than the offline school will.

I've never seen it myself but a friend of mine was complaining about it the other day. He hasn't mentioned it since so presumably it cleared up.

How do you access online flight school? I got a prompt for it but couldn't find it on my radar. Is it a type of job or is it like SP flight school where you got o a point on the map and launch it from there?

Been just getting on to grind challenges, making 500k a day then hopping on another game has been great. Plan to really get into GTA late but it will always be here for me. No need for grinding heavily for money. I invest 10 minutes of my time and make 500k. I was debating buying a shark card on Black Friday but now I don't even think it is worth it. I will be able to afford everything I need by Tuesday if I just keep doing this.

Sitting at 2.5 Million. Anyone know how much it will cost to get a Zentorno fully maxed out. I'm assuming with the cost of the Zentorno and maxing it out it will cost me ~1 mil

Is there a thread for a PS4 GAF crew? Was able to see the Xbox one, but did not see one for PS4.
I'm mainly interested in getting organized to do either contact missions or survivals, but will do any of the other side activities during breaks. Also don't mind going bounty hunting with others in free roam.

I've been getting out into much more populated lobbies, and I no longer get timed out messages. So yeah, for me at least.
Some of these load-times are ridiculous, though. I was expecting the free-roam lobbies to load much quicker than what they do. If nothing comes up in the playlist that interests me, then I have to go back into free-roam and host a new job/call for another...which takes an age to load. They feel just as long as the last-gen load times.
Well that sounds like an improvement at least. And that is unfortunate about the load scenarios. That was one of the more tedious things to happen last gen. Gonna hop on later and check it out. Thanks!

Why are we only allowed a two refreshes in the playlist lobby? I only want to play missions, but they are so rare in comparison to parachute races or vehicle races, so I have to go back to free-roam and call for another job...which takes an age. I wish we could just refreshing until we find something we like.
On the old gen version it looked like there was eventually going to be more than two character slots. Anyone know if I'll be able to make a third character at some point? I don't want to lose everything on the two I have but I want to experience the beginning of GTAO again on PS4.

Man, the framerate in the city is pretty choppy at times in comparison to the rest of the map. (PS4).
And Rockstar, PLEASE get rid of that damn auto-centering camera. It's so annoying. I should be able to look around freely. Who thought it would be a good idea to add this?
