Its weird, the websites dont start showing how many they have left until they have about 80 units, so im guessing ~150 units each store.

They'll probably process them, but still, the scalpers are gonna have a field day with how limited this must be in Canada... Between FS, BB and EBgames, they had a total of what, 2000?

EDIT: Forgot Amazon,. but I can't imagine they sold over 5000 total here?

That's pretty weird. But I guess it's not unheard of to do something like that. Still though ~150, or even less than 200 is insane! The fact it sold out in... Half an hour was it? Is crazy limited...

Wouldn't the Monster Hunter Bundle be way more rare? That thing was exclusive to EB Games and sold out really fast.

I suppose, but the thirst for all things Majora is insane, I never expected this. I have both the LE and the XL and I've never even played it haha, so caught up in the hype.

Just wondering if I should pre-order a regular New 3DSXL or not. I want to play it on February 13th with Majora's Mask, etc. but don't think Amazon.ca will deliver on the 13th. Does it seem like I'll have a shot to just go into a store on February 13th and pick it up?

I get the impression that Red and Black will be available over the counter. You may have a hard time at EB but I imagine you should be able to walk into a Wal-Mart or Toys R Us on the 13th to grab one.

For those with Firefox:

Install the Check4Change extension, highlight relevant text, and right-click to set an auto-refresh interval. It will notify you if the text changes.

So for the FS page, I'd highlight the quantity remaining, for example.

Well the online market is quite powerful.
Also Best Buy has venders like Apple, Microsoft, etc.

Essentially Sony is renting space at a Best Buy and have training modules for its employees. Not many people shopped at Sony Store anyways.

Cheers, thanks. I guess that will be my plan then. I can't imagine nowhere will have red or black available on the 13th, but stranger things have happened I suppose.

Ugh...that sounds more painful then you say. Also...who still gets statements? I went paperless a long while ago. I guess I could print off a month of my chequeing account?

You can look it up on their computer, no need for paper statement. We spent more time talking about my annoying neighbor than banking really.

Maaaan, I literally lost sleep over this thing and I still didn't get one. I was waking up every hour, on the hour since 6am and F5ing their site and F5ing this thread. I guess when I woke up at 10 and forgot to F5 this thread when I F5ed their site, didn't see all the info about it going up soon, when back to sleep, woke up at 11 and of course they're all gone. Now I'm bummed and I'm tired. :(

Did anyone in the Greater Vancouver area get any extras and might want to help this soul?

Oh well, at least FutureShop has MM3D for $5 off today...

That's where I got my 3DS XL cradle and I didn't have that problem. I don't know what to say other than call them like it says.

Just got an email from best buy regarding my majors' mask new 3ds XL:

We're sorry to inform you that your Order ######### could not be processed. Please call us at 1-866-514-1431 from the phone number you provided during checkout so we can resolve this issue.

I think I inputted my credit card incorrectly... Oh well. Was kinda regretting the purchase anyway. Look out for 1 more in stock at best buy soon!!

just cancelled my amazon.ca order for majoras mask 3ds xl, Dunno if the website will update with 1 stock though.

I might just keep my FS order and either keep it or sell it back to FS and buy it at best buy if reds are available in-store at launch with my reward points.

I have Super Easy Auto Refresh. But that Check4Change thing makes a lot of sense. Especially if it gives you a signal.

Crazy. I walked in on an afternoon the day of and managed to get both preorders in. Still not sure which version of the console I'll get (probably the MonHun one), but if the time comes next month and someone here still wants the MM one, I wouldn't mind just passing selling the one I preordered.
