Wisconsin played like shit at the end, the refs made shit calls at the end. Really horrible end to what could have been a good game.

Well, in college you gotta do it 2 ways.. either with the McDonalds All-Americans and deal with 1 (or 2) and done guys.. or get quality guys you can coach up and who'll stay for 4 years.
If you can recruit 4 year guys and make good choices you can make great teams. Gonzaga has been doing it for years, though they've lost a few early.. but mostly it's guys who stay.
The thing with basketball is you don't get that many scholarships, so you need to be smart about recruiting. It's not like football where a few mistakes won't kill you.. they can in basketball.
Only thing that can stop us is Creighton thugs!

Duke, Wiscy and UK-GAF. We all had amazing teams this year that could beat each other on any given night. Duke got the hardware and deservedly so. They really impressed me on how well they improved over the season. Point is...we all have something to be proud of. We had some of the best teams in recent years represent us fans this season.
I know this is a season I will never forget. Here is hoping they can make officiating a little more consistent in the near future, so when our teams accomplish something or fall short that we don't have to hear the bullshit that comes a long with it (or at least not as much of it). It sucks having to defend your well deserved win because of some bad calls at clutch moments. But unfortunately that is just part of the game right now.
Go Cats and congrats to Wisconsin and especially you Duke fuckers!

I know we can blame the refs for that awful out of bounds call, but I'd like to blame Traevon Jackson having more than one minute of play time. He jacks up awful shots and turns the ball over. Plus if Nigel Hayes could figure out how to complete a layup the game could have ended differently, bad call and all.

Oh wow. Then they call him classy? Coach Ryan literally just said that the last 10 possessions on offense were bad but there may be some reasons for that. Classy is not calling out the refs for your bad offense, lol.

I don't have a problem with Jackson but why didn't Showalter get any clock this game he's huge on D and usually makes an impact. He was big in the S16 and E8.

Wisconsin can say whatever, they have every right to be dejected. That's a tough loss. At 48-39, and with Winslow and Okafor in foul trouble, I thought they would seal the deal.
If they actually played their best the whole game, they'd have a right to be dejected. As is, they self-destructed at the most important part of the game. I cringed hard.
