i just bought the game on steam today and started online. but i ran into a little problem. i made a character and had a spiffy ass outfit for him, but then i went into a clothes store and accidentally changed the dude's clothes. now i can't a way to revert the clothes. anyone know how?

...I guess it's not that surprising, he's pretty smart. Just... psychotic.

I just completed that mission earlier tonight and had no issues; I still have the landing page enabled. That's a pretty stupid bug, though. You would have hoped someone on QA would have played through the game without the landing page enabled. I actually had the landing page disabled for a while and only reenabled it while messing around with settings in case I changed something that caused a CTD.

have you played the intro? play until you get to free roam before benchmarking or it's a glitchfest

I've played the intro. I run like 5 different tests, last one is this explosion one where I'm in a car. After that one is done, it goes straight to my desktop.

Dammit, I think I'm completely stuck for story progression:

I'm on the Mission Blitz Play (
armoured truck heist for the FIB
) and I've stowed my getaway vehicle in a parking garage that the
garbage
truck can't enter because of max clearance height... game simply refuses to progress me unless I bring the truck to the getaway vehicle which is impossible.

Any ideas / cheats / workarounds?

Finished the main story and all the Strangers and Freaks missions tonight, had a much better time than with my original PS3 play through, nice graphics and solid framerate make a big difference in the amount of fun I had with the game.

After making over $1 billion per character with the stock market, I decided to buy all the clothes from all 3 shops, all weapons and attachments, and max my ammo for every weapon for each character.

Finished the game at 33 hours. What a ride that was.

After playing SA and GTA 4 I didn't have much hope at the beginning. Turns out Rockstar finally made a GTA game I could enjoy.

I'm not going to say that 4 had great physics, or even good physics, but they had weight to them. And there was a certain challenge in mastering them.

They should've refined them. Not gone the complete opposite and make the cars feel like go carts. The driving is devoid of challenge now because of the insane levels of grip. And the braking is seriously rediculous. There's hardly any throttle or brake management needed. I hate using this term but it's been dumbed down.

Somewhere in the middle of the two games would've been better in my opinion.

I'm never having luck connecting with the NeoGang PC crew even though I'm a member. Always getting a message that I can't and then I get thrown in with some randoms. Does anybody want to run some heists today or this weekend?

I added you guys and I have teamspeak. I tried the GAF mummble and something messed up my PC (no hate against mumble) and causes my PC to crash whenever I use it.

But I do have TS lol. Server and all.

Can't you just park as close to the car as possible, exit, destroy the truck, and then go to the getaway vehicle?

You can move the getaway vehicle after you phoned it in the first time. You just need to re-phone the new location.

Sorry for the delayed crew invites everyone but I've been playing the game and forgot to check the thread for a few days. Seems I lost my place on where I had stopped so I've added the past few pages requests but if I missed anyone send me a PM with your social club name and I'll get you invited.

On the topic of the crew I'm in the home stretch on the singleplayer (I think) so I will be up for some heists possibly by the weekend but I'm going to try a bit of Elite Dangerous again to take a break from GTA. I've seen people asking for team members but I didn't know if it would be better to plan them out instead of impromptu events that might be harder to schedule.

Thanks for accepting the crew invite. What do you think about a separate thread under the gaming community just for the Neogang PC crew? That way the crew can subscribe to the thread and hear about planned events?

I would be interested in that and would be up for the challenge of keeping it updated but we would have to get Salsa's approval on it since he's the crew leader (and is a thread like that okay in the first place?). I can see it having a focus on some crew created events like racing or deathmatch (if the user created stuff cane be selected like that) and have planning for big group stuff like heists and general fun and madness.

This game is so much better when not dropping frames everytime you hit an intersection. Rented the PS3 one from Gamefly when it first came out and had to return it because it was practically unplayable for me.

why does Rockstar treat The Lost like shit since GTA4 lol. Wasnt Johnny the guy you played in the DLC?

After exiting the game back to my Desktop , is there a program still running afterwards in the back ground ?

reason i am asking is because XPadder no longer works after playing GTA5.

I'm not aware that it would be an issue under "Gaming Community". If you want to check with Salsa first. If he's good with it, we can always ask a mod to confirm the thread is ok.

Why wouldn't he? Franklin clearly values drive, ambition, playing things "smart" and getting out of the ghetto. He sees all that in Micheal, while Lamar is fine scraping by and doing stupid shit while roping Franklin into it.

Is something up with the online servers for anyone else?, every time I've gone online today within a few minutes every single person leaves in 1 go like the entire server is dropped bar me - its realty weird.,

i understand Michael..yes

but he even respects Trevor more so than Franklin..yet Trevor is much more crazy and unpredictable then Lamar

torture segments with trevor where really hard to play though.
I felt really sorry for the guy.
I would've like to just play as Michael that mission,the torture
felt a bit unnecessary.
