Anything on the Alpha before Steam release? Can't see at school.

Is that Beta PC only? I assume since it has PC specs listed, but I don't see it actually said anywhere.
Alpha comes before early access. People accepted into the alpha get the game for free. Alpha info to be coming out in the next couple days.Anything on the Alpha before Steam release? Can't see at school.

Thanks for this. A lot of info in the FAQ. Hopefully most of those features will make it to the final game.
There will definitely be some jankyness. This is a common issue in this genre.
Ah, when I first watched the trailer I didn't get the impression that it was going to be the type of game that it was. Not to say I encourage jank, but I suppose I'm used to that type of deal for these games.
After listening to that 45 minute interview and reading the FAQ, I think i'm on board.
I find it extremely interesting how an indie team managed to have so much content created in a game that's looking THIS good in only 7 months. That's pretty crazy. They must have a really smooth creative workflow over at Wildcard.
The early access is going up next month for $25 dollars, and he said there is no "trickery" with the graphics and that they actually look like that on high/ultra settings.
I always thought this survival genre was very interesting (Watched tons of DayZ streams) and always wanted to get into one. I'll probably be making this my first one.
This looks so awesome. How does this thread only have 7 pages?

"Dinosaur" isn't in ALL CAPS like it should be.
Whoa so that great looking trailer ran on a 980.
Try to enslave me, do you? Fine, I'll just eat my own poop. That'll show you!Game is looking and sounding good, only problem i'm seeing after reading the faq they posted is hopefully they don't get too ambitious and end up over promising and under delivering. The slave part has me intrigued though.
When I read that in the faq I thought it was a joke, kinda shocked they put that in as a feature but I guess it's one way to escape my capture muhahaha.Try to enslave me, do you? Fine, I'll just eat my own poop. That'll show you!
Dino VR
ed: That FAQ!
Brontosaurus doesn't even exist anymore! Not sure why they couldn't call it by its real name: Apatosaurus! This is some attitude considering how off some of their dinosaurs are.

Bronto is back baby! Bronto is back.i was going to say "but brontosaurus don exits" in response to that twitter, but apparently it's now again recognized as a separate genus????
who said you cant learn anything from video games
Like most Christian gamers, I'm very hopeful that this game will be compatible with the creation narrative as laid out in the Book of Genesis.
Meh, I prefer the name Apatosaurus myselfBronto is back baby! Bronto is back.
Yeah, that part didn't make sense to me either. Who would want to play this game as a captive blood donor constantly in a drugged-up stupor? How long would you be stuck in that state? And what kind of player wants to do that to others? "It puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again". I'm guessing that part gets removed.I was on board and everything sounded great until the locking you up/ enslaving / using your blood or feces / force feeding you/ eating your own poop to kill yourself/ considering adding a suicide trigger part.
That sounds like the ravings of a crazy man tbh, and now I can't take anything in this FAQ seriously.
Will wait for the actual game to be on First Access to get an idea, but all that sounds downright terrible (for the online play, but at least it has offline local play).
