Everything is PC only until full release (or very close to full release) when console stuff comes.

Alpha comes before early access. People accepted into the alpha get the game for free. Alpha info to be coming out in the next couple days.

God I hope Morpheus doesn't give me motion sickness and/or headaches for at least couple of hours so I can buy it. I want to play this in VR!!!!

This looks fucking amazing and that music is glorious, has me hyped. I have an Oculus DK1 but I can't even imagine playing something in VR with graphics this nice.

Ah, when I first watched the trailer I didn't get the impression that it was going to be the type of game that it was. Not to say I encourage jank, but I suppose I'm used to that type of deal for these games.

After listening to that 45 minute interview and reading the FAQ, I think i'm on board.

I find it extremely interesting how an indie team managed to have so much content created in a game that's looking THIS good in only 7 months. That's pretty crazy. They must have a really smooth creative workflow over at Wildcard.

The early access is going up next month for $25 dollars, and he said there is no "trickery" with the graphics and that they actually look like that on high/ultra settings.

I always thought this survival genre was very interesting (Watched tons of DayZ streams) and always wanted to get into one. I'll probably be making this my first one.

The progress in that short of time has me concerned as well. But I think it might be possible. If you check out the steam community a dev responds to pretty much every thread there. They are extremely open about status and issues compared to other developers. Part of me is really hoping this team has some serious chemistry and motivation so they will achieve these aggressive goals they have.

Well I'll wait a little bit and look at impressions before jumping into the early access, but we'll see. From what I recall, the dev said that they managed to get so much content done in that amount of time because they focused on creating the "game" parts of the game rather than putting an excess amount of time into optimizing and technical issues. (like the pop in and weird things like the dinosaurs' feet sliding) They said they know that those are things they'll be able to tune up, so for that time they were putting their main focus into the actual game. I guess that could be a good thing or a bad thing but we'll see how it plays out I guess.

I just want to play solo against AI without having to grind impossible-to-solo feats to acquire the ability to ride a deinonychus/raptor.

Or is this all pvp where you need to level up to ridiculous levels to get to the cool shit?

I don't care for these types of games and am very ignorantly cynical but fucking dinosaurs!

When is Primal Carnage PS4 coming?

Game is looking and sounding good, only problem i'm seeing after reading the faq they posted is hopefully they don't get too ambitious and end up over promising and under delivering. The slave part has me intrigued though.

I'm hyped, but I'm definitely gonna let this one sit for a year or so after launch.

I want to know whether it becomes a fine wine, or just vinegar.

I might actually jump on this in Early Access if the GBP price isn't silly. The trailer looks amazing and the FAQ and everything else they've posted just sounds great. I realise its easy to say and harder for them to deliver on those promises, but I might be willing to give it a go depending on whether I can pull myself away from The Witcher 3.

I was on board and everything sounded great until the locking you up/ enslaving / using your blood or feces / force feeding you/ eating your own poop to kill yourself/ considering adding a suicide trigger part.

That sounds like the ravings of a crazy man tbh, and now I can't take anything in this FAQ seriously.

Will wait for the actual game to be on First Access to get an idea, but all that sounds downright terrible (for the online play, but at least it has offline local play).

Yeah, that part didn't make sense to me either. Who would want to play this game as a captive blood donor constantly in a drugged-up stupor? How long would you be stuck in that state? And what kind of player wants to do that to others? "It puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again". I'm guessing that part gets removed.
