Just got back from a screening. Felt like the start of Phase 3 to me.
Just how good is the de-aging of Michael Douglas.
Is it me or does Ant-Man have a small marketing budget? I see more Fantastic 4 commercials than I do for Ant-Man.
Polar opposite for me. I actually haven't seen a F4 commercial in weeks, while Ant-Man is quite literally everywhere.
This RT score keeps shrinking and growing!!
Back up to 72%
So now it's within AoU territory. Glad more of the top critics chimed in.Now at 73%.
Why does metacritic have a total of 14 reviews when every other marvel movies have 40 plus reviews.
Not sure, Rotten Tomatoes has around 40 reviews already. Why does metacritic have a total of 14 reviews when every other marvel movies have 40 plus reviews.

Now it's equal to AoU.
yo yo yo, does this come out Wednesday?
Just how good is the de-aging of Michael Douglas.
So is it worth seeing it in 3D or na?
To be honest, I didn't even notice it until the scene was over. As in, I knew it was Michael Douglas, but it didn't register that his face was modified. I only realized it the next time we saw him in the present.
Let me be the first to say i am devastated at the OT tagline, it should be Ant-Man |OT|: "What is this an OT for ANTS?! It has to be at least… three times bigger than this!

I'm more devastated at myself for not continuing the Thanos spoiler thread theme.

Micheal Phillips review is the best one to me: "Same stuff but it's funny and he shrinks, I like that."

Fuck.
My local $5 beer theater is getting Trainwreck rather than Ant-Man. Dammit.
So it'll start with a break up and losing custody of the kids (does he have kids in the movies? I have no idea). After the court proceedings, he finds Pizza-dog injured in the rain. Smash cut to opening credits. Smash cut to the start of the best marvel movie.
Saw it last night on the IMAX BIG SCREEN 3D OF AWESOMENESS (no, seriously, the IMAX pre-showing talkups are hilarious).
It felt a little slow in the middle, and the fight scenes were awkward to watch from time to time, but the incredible visuals were totally worth it, the jokes were good (even if the trailers spoiled probably the top 2-3 best ones), and the overall acting was good.
Little sad we didn't get a younger Hank Pym,but I loved the interaction between him and Stark.
In terms of less mainstream movies, I'd rank it below Guardians of the Galaxy, but still one of the "Good" MCU Movies.
How is the 3D in this? is it any good or does it take away from the movie? (Edit: saw that it is good some posts above but another opinion wont hurt) im gonna see it tomorrow (actually on thursday at 00:15 am) and i got the middle seats in the middle row.
Rudd seems to be really committing to the whole Ant-Man thing

Ant-Man projected to make $115-125 million globally, but will finish second to Minions this weekend.
Another reason to hate those little yellow buggers.
