Fighting Games Weekly | July 27 - Aug 2 | Beta luck next time

Is there a lot of variety in character/arcana combinations at high level play or does there end up being a "best" arcana for each character that everyone uses?
No idea i'm afraid. I only dabbled with it in training mode. Not been keeping up with the high level play stuffs. Looks like Shaowebb was watching some tournie stuff though, so they might know more :3

I'm very late to this discussion but Arcana is actually a game I looked at a lot when I was building some concepts for a fighting game for myself. I was big on its mobility and "assists" via Arcana but still found myself settling for a more grounded design (Vsav-like) since I just didn't think there was any cool spin I could put on homing dashes for my concept that would warrant further thinking out/spinning off into its own design. Those guys basically nailed it and anything else would just be an imitation.

Imitation is the cheapest form of flattery tho
