You're never going to get good at aerials if you don't go for them.

I still end up trolling my team with missed aerials every game.

I'm feeling that playing Ranked 3v3 is a huge waste of time if you aren't in a party. I'm trapped between ~490 and ~510 due to the back and forth of team quality.

This new AI is absolute garbage. So many matches where the system can't seem to find a 4th player so I'm stuck with a scrub AI teammate. It's gotten so bad that if it says "searching for player" for too long before the game starts and I can see the writing on the wall that it's about to force me to start with an AI opponent, I'll quit before kick off.

Now that the AI sucks and the casual servers aren't forcing full games before starting, it has made the ranked side the superior side where at least I will find a game with 4 actual players that most likely will not quit.

Maybe the AI was too good before, but they really didn't need to make them suck this badly.

Why not? You all have to vote yes. A similar system exists in csgo. Would you rather continue to pummel someone at their expense? Or would you rather move on to someone who is of equal skill.

Also is there a specific reason you can't have ranked 3v3 parties?

AHHHH DLC in two days can't wait.

Probably use the muscle car. That and Octane will be my go to cars. Looking forward to checking out the paint finishes.

I suppose if you all have to vote then it's not too bad. But just the acknowledgement that your teammates have already basically given up is going to be so damn disheartening in the middle of a match. I see certain people voting quicker than they should.

Yeah, it's a bummer and why I stopped doubles once I got to a certain level. Think its going to seriously cut down on my playtime since I'll have to commit to more than one match if I have to get a group together.

That's already happening now, I can't see this making a difference other than you can actually quit now.

Is there any benefit to quitting instead of finishing the match? You lose the same points regardless, right?

Lmao your new avi is hilarious. Eh, those who grief already do it. I feel like if you deny it they'll just quit and risk those 15 minutes like they do now.

But I imagine now that people will be incentivized to forfeit, and turn their rage towards their teammate if their demands are met. I dont expect this to be common with a majority of players though. I mean, I've had about 3 bad experiences in this game, in a sea of normal or overly positive players

I notice also that quitting happens less since the ban penalty, so I expect most players will suck it up.

If it becomes a real problem we'll put limits on the Forfeit vote, like a minimum score threshold you have to be losing by to initiate the vote, etc. We're keeping a close eye on it.

The flipside is we don't feel it's fair to both have a leaver penalty AND disallow a team to honorably concede if there's no point in continuing.

is there a good online tutorial on aerials? like i tried the in-game tutorial named aerials. and it doesnt actually show you what is meant by an aerial. all it says is "score the ball as many times as possible in 12 secs" ...

so an aerial is just when you boost up in the air and kick at the ball right?

Like I said, I dont imagine it to be abused by most. But it seems that people worry about it. These people come from games like dota or cs, where the games are too different to compare

By the way, any chance you guys will add more to the quit penalty? There are loopholes: sitting idle and getting booted and joining a friend's party both dont get you the 15 min ban if Im not mistaken

I think a forfeit option is going to be great, especially for parties. It's definitely a welcome addition, and the abuse sounds like it wil be isolated to an insignificant minority.

I noticed the framerate unlock tweak only works at 1080p (native res) for me. If I set a custom resolution of 1440p or 4K, the framerate is locked at 60fps. So weird. I'd really like to use a higher res.

Not parties, matches. They basically said never to expect parties. It might happen, but writing their own party system is complex as fuck.
