The Thompson is for all classes and isnt part of Criminal Activity, its for everyone.
You can test it out now, its an alright gat but doesnt seem to do anything better than anything else.

The new Hotwire map is "ok" but it's pretty fucked up they only added 1 Hotwire map, bringing the total to 6.

But ok Visceral, it's not like Hotwire is the most popular mode in the game.. oh wait -_-

Heist is pretty intense on the code blue map, this level has firefights straight out of a Michael man movie.

Black Friday and The Beat are ok, nothing really sets them as being particularly good or bad.

Black Friday is really very CQC.

The lowriders on The Beat is fantastically hilarious and distracting in heist.

Never got try it on the backwood map unfortunately yet.

Would I recommend them? Yes, but really only because they add a bit more variety to the map count in the base game.

Well, the PC version's DLC is broken and doesn't work at all and I'm dying to play but I refuse to buy Premium again for this game.

But thanks for the impressions, I dug for this thread just to read some!

The new patch changes are very good IMO. Game plays so much better now and it's actually possible to unlock the last damn perk of each class now.

I recently returned after a hiatus to check out the DLC... it appears as if Xbox One no longer has any official servers supporting Hotwire? (or Blood Money for that matter) was this an intentional change by devs or a bug? I can also only see headhunter and conquest for new maps, no other modes.

Edit - also the new maps seem like they'd be a lot better with less than 64 ppl running around :( too cramped and chaotic

I love the change in heist where they added more lives when you score the first package. At first I didn't know what to think of it cuz I was used to just having 100 attempts for the entire match. But the more I played, the better I found the change to be. Matches lasts a little longer now, and on maps like The Block, it is actually possible to win and not as frustrating as before.

Also love that they added new music tracks! I thought they would be locked or exclusive to DLC, so the fact that everyone gets new music tracks is just awesome. Love the music in this game.

I started playing blood money. There is nothing more satisfying in mp then emptying out the other teams vault and making it back to yours. So many people just blindly rush in to save their money it's easy pickings.

I've been having such shit luck tonight playing heist on PS4. Every fucking game I join, I'm stuck with worthless idiots not even trying to win. It's the most frustrating thing ever.


I also can't stand the professional class (sniper) in heist. 99% of the time, they are campers not doing the objective. Ugh.

I had the same issues. Had a win/loss of around 20% and had all but given up on the game. But some of my mates who have been MIA from gaming the last year or so have all returned and bought hardline within the last month and my win/loss is now at 58%. Try and find some mates who play the objective and squad up and the game and the wins will come easy. We actually are mostly all playing as the professional class at the moment as we need the gold star for the knockout assignment, but we are all playing the objective and usually always in the top 5 for score at the end of each match.

I actually think that hardline has better multiplayer than BF4, heist, blood money, hot wire and rescue are just excellent game modes.

I was looking at the DLC trophies for criminal activity and noticed that there's 4 bronze trophies for getting 10k kills with each class. A total of 40k kills for bronze trophies? Isn't that just....absurd?

It is absurd. I think they said they are going to reduce those requirements, and more importantly have it go back and look at the kills you've gotten before that patch. I don't know what the new number of kills will be though. I mean I don't even have 20k kills overall after 200 hours on this game, and that's in the top 3% for kills per minute.

There is some precedent, the 30k score in each game mode Elite Player Syndicate or whatever it was called still says 30k, but it counts at 10k... so now it's actually doable.. on a double XP weekend at least.

I started playing via EA access last night on xbox one, lots and lots of servers.

Looked absolutely hideous but enjoyed the shit out of it.......

I then proceeded to purchase it on PS4, currently downloading :)

^I've got both, Xbox One is probably slightly better for 64-man conquest if that's your thing just because it seems to hold a better frame rate but for all the 32-player stuff, yep, definitely PS4.

So I was thinking about picking this up on PC against my better judgement. I know the community is pretty weak at the moment, but how is the game otherwise in terms of stability on PC?

I've played the beta so I know what I'm getting into in terms of graphics quality, the game itself, etc.

Yeah I'm enjoying the game a lot now post patch. It's no longer an impossible feat to get to Reputation Tier 4. Finally managed to get the double barrelled shotgun for the Enforcer class, on my way to getting the FMG9 now.

Are you me? I just unlocked the double barrel myself about two days ago.

Enforcer is my least played class in the game, and I got my first syndicate for it lol

And you're right, tier 4 is no longer impossible to get, but it's still a pain in the ass that you need to get 10 tier 4 for syndicate. I play heist 99% of the time and even with the changes in tiers, I still find it impossible to get to tier 4 without using a 100% reputation boost.

EDIT:

also, please put premium on sale already visceral. The game isn't that hot population wise when you look at bfhstats.com so a sale on premium might boost those numbers up!

They had "premium bonuses" they have forgotten those. I half expect them to think we forgot about those too.

So I wouldn't expect them to fix anything, at this point.

Wiped my PC, upgraded to Windows 10, forget I wasn't using Origins cloud backup and lost my 100% single player save from the My Documents folder. Anyone got one they can share? I don't really feel like playing through the entire campaign again. That's if it's as easy as pasting it in there and syncing with my Origin account.

Also, how come the PC community is so dead? Matches I spawn into rarely have full teams lately.

I realize this thread might be more bias towards Hardline, but both this game and BF4 are currently on sale on PS4, and I'm wondering if either one is worth checking out.

I'm leaning towards Hardline, just because I think I'd prefer the more urban setting, rather than what BF4 offers. The standard edition of the game is on sale for $36, while the game with premium is $60. Is it worth it to get premium?

Premium would be worth it for BF4. there are plenty of servers for the DLC. Hardline doesn't have many DLC servers for criminal activity unfortunately, which was the first map pack. Robbery is supposed to come out soon, but I honestly don't see many servers for that either which is a shame because I really love Hardline a lot. If you decide to get BFH, just stick with the default maps for now until Visceral does something about the DLC maps. The default maps are very active for every game mode.
