in VF2 lion and shun had two "dodge" moves (1G and 3G), making them the only characters in the game with anything resembling a sidestep. In VF3, everyone has evade, but these characters kept their dodge moves, and they act a little differently from evades. interestingly... in VF3, they cancel into evades, but not out of them, and in VF3tb, they cancel out of evades, but not into them. anyway, the result is you can clear a lot more ground with shun and lion in 3. Shun actually has a weird glitchy backdash that looks like this:
which as you can imagine is a bitch to deal with on the desert stage!

I wonder if Gief or Alex will get multi-part grapples.
It's honestly part of the reason why I hate backdash cancelling. Aside fromt he obvious immediate execution barrier when playing the game, it makes the game look janky as fuck.

I did wish for King levels in SF one time. They could be broken in some of the parts and if you failed it could continue with 2 or more unbreakable chains till you get the chance to break again.Also have some high scaling on them. Could be used as a time waster that ain't the ultra too. Realized it ain't ever happening tho.

DOUBLE EDITcurrently trying to find an unblockable setup using Joe the Condor's bird missiles in the lab ) Gettin closer. Using Alex's stungun headbutt team hyper so that it ends in a stun state and then Alex can combo into a baroque cancel into an air powerbomb right as the bird missile is ready to hit in order to setup an unblockable setup on their wakeup. Sooooo...close here...
TRIPE EDIT: WOO! Got it! If you get the reset this thing does some of the sickest damage and its hard to read it for clashes. Hell yes! New tech!
QUAD EDIT: introduced them to the destructoid leaked cut content from TVC. They apparently didn't know that Phoenix Wright, Ingrid from Fighting Jam, and Muteking from Tatsunoko were planned alongside of a Ghosts N Goblins stage. When asked who Muteking was I posted a link and sent them to 18 min. Muteking would have been insane as a fighter lol

The glitch isn't a boob only thing. It's a glitch with the gravity on the P2 side that affects everything and it makes it all floaty and weird. You can see it mess with Birdie's chain and Ken's hair, for example.
The backgrounds in VF are so clean.
It's like every fighter these days pushes to be more garish than the last.
It was this fluid in TTT1 days... The game's a turtlefest...
i'm in the minority but i think it's pretty disappointing that VF4 reverted stages back to VF2 squares.

Has an anti-air grapple?
Activate her V skill sends out an assist that you can control where she comes out.
Had a launcher you can combo into.
Has a drop kick like Fuerte but you can combo into.
Has a very short slide.
Butt drop the only move she kept in alpha. Can combo leg drop, punch, butt drop.
EX moves brings out her assists?

This thread has been my convenient go-to place for discussing FGC news/events. So now I have to regularly scan the first ten pages of GD, searching for minor FGC news threads that may or may not be there? I rarely post outside of FGC-gaf so having to wade through a dozen MGSV thread titles looking for FGC-related news is not something I would look forward to. Or is news still going to be posted here as well, so I can just subscribe to the one thread and not miss anything? If a specific bit of newsworthy info is going to be discussed in two places (FGW community thread and a dedicated one in GD), then will people post in both threads? Wouldn't that dilute the discussion, with some people posting about it here and some there? Will there be a link to the dedicated thread in this one, so I know where to go?

Oh wow! TVC stream just showed a cool glitch with Tekkaman. If you do a variable air raid to a standing character and Tekkaman is your dude that comes in he just keeps gliding on forward momentum and you can chain like 3 air attacks for good combo damage. He rocketed at them like he was Magneto ! God it even leads to an aerial Voltekka too!
EDIT: Playing with Free Baroque turned on in training equating to infinite cancels and shenanigans lol. Tatsu into tatsu into more tatsu happened in the corner just now above a crouching opponent. TVC Koryu edition. Also Tekkaman Baroque cancelled multiple dive lances into dive lances turning him into Yoshimitsu's pogo stick lol
