PS+ Games For December (Kings Quest, Gauntlet, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, SSX)

Already own SSX, Freedom Wars, and Blood Dragon (I think), but three out of six ain't bad. Better than Games with Gold for December.

Someone made a thread here about how great and refreshing King's Quest was from all the other 2 sirius fantasy epic games. glad I'll get to try it.

Walking Dead Season 2 had all episodes released before it was put on PS+.

And all they're doing is giving it free so people buy the rest whenever it releases. Gee thanks? It's like a demo being one of the "free" games. Bleh.

If they're also going to add the rest to PS+ when it releases, then that would change things.

It's clear that publishers want to use PS+ as a sort of demo service to push people into buying future games: see MGS V: Ground Zeroes being offered before The Phantom Pain came out, or Yakuza 4 being offered after Yakuza 5 in English being announced.

I can symphatize with people wanting more high-profile games on PS+, as it's a larger cost savings to get a normally $60 game on the service than a normally $15 or $5 game. But for that reason it could be that publishers, both Sony and third-parties, have decided that it's not worth offering those games and losing out on potential revenue.

Yep the comedy I thought was really goods specially the Knights and Whisper.

I enjoyed this episode more then any in my fav Telltale game (Fables)

First month for a while that I'm excited about the PS4. King's Quest episode 1 is supposed to be really good and I hadn't gotten around to buying it. The Vita offering is also really nice - first month in a while that the Vita's gotten a retail game and a good one at that.

I usually think moaning about the PS+ game selection is unjustified, but a demo? Fuck right off, Sony.

Some months are better than others, but this is the first time I think they're taking people for a ride.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but for me it really seems obvious that Sony has quit trying to sell PS+ free games since the added multiplayer requirement of it with PS4. That's not to say every title they've released so far has been bad. Some have been quite enjoyable. But it really seems like they're reaching or not trying to get the publisher buy-in they used to prior to the PS4, when PS+ was firing on all cylinders.

I let my + run out a few weeks ago and I don't know when I'll ever resubscribe at this point. I didn't care much before but having to pay for multiplayer has really worn on me.

Sad to see PS4 free games getting worse each month. I was really hoping they are going to have some great "bangers" / games for christmas month :-(

PS4 had Broken Age in October, Walking Dead season 2 in November, and King's Quest in December? I love adventure games, and I recognize that they have their differences, but I'd like them to mix the genres up a bit.

I've never even heard of the two PS4 titles. Fallout 4 and Battlefront are enough to be getting on with anyway. Hopefully PS+ picks up a bit next year.

1 part of an episodic game? That's seems like promotion to me and not something I expect to be included in a pay-for service.

On the flip side, happy with Blood Dragon and Freedom Wars.

Do you really think people have realistic expactations? Even with the full season it would be a shitty month for the most

Been wanting to play King's Quest but only Chapter 1 kinda sucks. Still excited to check it out though as it was one of my favorite series on PC as a kid.

Things are going from bad to sad. Now we're getting parts of the game. Down this path, we are getting Knack next month, but only the first 3 levels.

Horrible month for ps4, as a ps4 user only , i have not a vita or turn on ps3 anymore this service is not worth 50 euros a year for me cause all the ps4 game they give are games that i prefer to spend my time doing other shit than playing those, they keep giving uninteresting games, at first they gave good indies now they dont even do that.

Pretty disappointed with PS+ (for PS4 not Vita) and GWG this month. I've wanted to try King's Quest though so if it's good I may bite on the whole season, but not exactly jumping at it.

That's a very good line up of games. Gauntlet: Slayer Edition is a lot of fun, but I couldn't convince my friends to get it so I didn't end up playing it much. Rocketbirds and Freedom Wars are good picks for the Vita line up.
