Oh stop it. Doom fans are getting all of the fanfictions drawn out for them in the main universe. This entire event was just one huge Doctor Doom Wank.

What the hell are you talking about, as a Doom fanboy I assure you it was not Doom wank. Doom should've beaten down everyone, Reed and the "heroes" realize they were wrong and then Doom gives up his powers himself and sets things right.Oh stop it. Will this thing be released as a collection later on? I haven't bought single issue since I was a kid but on occasion grab a graphic novel.
Well...Can anyone explain the end with Tchalla and the spaceships?
1. How didsneak though the ANAD?Old Man Logan, Regent and Maker
2. So everything before EVERYTHING DIES never happens?
3. So do some remember the incursions and some don't or is that a incursion plot hole?
Squadron Supreme is super weird, because they're the originals from their various worlds, but there's been no explanation how they survived the reboot. But as far as Prime is concerned, the incursions seemingly didn't happen. They existed in 616 and happened, but they are not tangible to Prime. The first would've happened when T'Challa launched the rocket. It didn't, because there was nothing to incur.
I was wondering about Miles. His inclusion into the prime universe makes me wonder if his "official" origins will be retconned. No Oz, no Ultimate Peter Parker dying, etc

I only read once so I'm not sure on a lot of things.
So the Sue and FF that were with Doom the whole time WERE the real ones after all? And they, plus Reed, T'Challa, Doom, and the two Spider-Men survived the whole ordeal and are the only survivors of the original universes? Everyone else is recreated by Franklin/Reed/Owen?
I feel dumb for not being able to figure this out on the first read but its really bugging me lol, still confused as to how the actual characters in ANAD came about, did Time Runs Out/Secret Wars just never happen in this new universe and they've always been there?
Maybe it will be explained by T'Challa at some point since he is fully aware of what happened from the beginning.
Well...
To me it seemed that T'Challa will open up (to a certain degree) Wakanda's expertise to the world; one of the stories within New Avengers/Time Runs Out/Secret Wars was no matter what, Wakanda only looks out for Wakanda and nothing else. They don't need any help from others. T'Challa at one point does question his position and how his choices affect more than Wakanda, but his forfathers insist; "No matter what, you are the Black Panther and you will never let the golden city fall". But with the destruction of worlds and protecting their earth he gradually changes his stance. I think the destruction of his kingdom finally put things in perspective for him.
That's my guess anyway. And I guess that's the point of the spaceships; showing Wakanda isn't this closed kingdom, but more acessible. Seems to fit with the current theme of the Marvel universe with every hero going international or into space. Spider-Man and his Parker Industries, Iron Man International, characters going into space... essentialy, more than New York. I guess Panther will be the next to follow this trend.
They bribed Molecule Man off page with a burger. Dude is easy

I'm still surprised there was no appearance from the One Above All in this.
The lack of cosmic entities outside of the Beyonders themselves is pretty weird.
I mean sure, that's fine (except The One Above All), but I would've thought we'd see something. They dead

Out of curiosity, how well does this new Secret Wars event hold up compared to the 80s one (the less said about the two Secret War sequels, the better)?

In Renew Your Vows, a random Spider-Man takes out a Thanos level guy by making him laugh though. It's a much better story all around, though it loses points for not having a scene where Spider-Man solos the X-Men like the bitches they are.
Eternity came back in one of the Silver Surfer tie-ins.They dead
I also love how everything Hickman wrote up until now had a purpose.Hell, he even tied the end of Secret Wars back to the beginning of his run of New Avengers.
I've been working through Hickman's Avengers run, and I'm getting very close to Secret Wars. Are there any major storylines I should be following outside of New Avengers/Avengers? I'm reading in the MU app, and overall organization is dogshit. I wish they'd make master lists of chronological releases.

Nope you don't need to read anything not written by Hickman.
You will get more out of the Secret Wars finale if you've read Hickman's FF run.
So what was the effect of T'Challa holding on to that Infinity Stone
It somehow turned Wakanda into a spacefaring superpower in the Prime universe. No one knows what infinity stone that was, or what the effect was. it doesn't matter, only that "Alpha Flight" is now a wakandan entity focused on space exploration, instead of the D-list canadian avengers it was in 616.
Huh, I thought it will make him survive the reset with memory intact.

Face front, true believers! The Captain has made her return and oh, how mighty it is. It's a bold new frontier for Carol Danvers as she soars to new heights in her greatest mission yetleader of the all-new Alpha Flight space program. Yup, Alpha Flight. As earth's first line of defense, Carol and her team aim to protect the planet from extraterrestrial threats. But can Carol be a soldier and a diplomat? Especially when an unknown enemy emerges that Carol can't quite punch.

What's interesting about that is in the new Captain Marvel title by Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, Carol is the leader of Alpha Flight.

Anyone up for a book club after this thread goes back to Community?
