Some really impressive collections here, massive man caves as well!

Mine has slowed down in the recent generations, with only Wii U getting some physical purchases. Also not seen in picture are some PS2 and PS3 games stored in a filing cabinet.

Also, some of the games pictured here have been sold, and im continuing to sell them as well. Without further delay, here is my shelf of goods (but now stands minus a few items):

This is my current collection right now. I had a lot more but I had to sell or pawn my games and systems over the last couple of years to keep myself afloat. I don't even have most systems to play those games on anymore, LOL. But they hold the most sentimental value to me and if I get rid of them it'll be harder to get them back.

I'll edit the post with my Steam library a bit later.

I don't have all of my gaming items on display yet. I just bought a new home this summer and I still have a lot of my stuff to set up. I took a couple of quick pictures though to add to the thread.

Just my current gen games, anything older is in storage.

I genunely love how organised these collections are. Really. Something to honestly aspire to, if I'm being perfectly honest.

Wowsers!

Mostly new up to date pictures but a few are old pictures since I have some stuff currently stored away including PS3 temporarily so that is the main one missing a few games. Blu-ray took over the tower I had PS3 games on so need to order and build another one in the coming weeks. Physical PC collection is also completely missing since I had never taken a picture of that collection like I had with the consoles so wasn't going to dig those out. They are really deep in storage thanks to Steam naturally. Might get around to the digital stuff later but for now just physical....

Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel. Yabuki turned off voice chat in Mario Kart races. True artists of their time.
You guys have too many games.

I have like 2 physical games: NieR Gestalt and NieR Replicant as part of my NieR collection. That's pretty much it. I re-sell games I have finished, IF I actually get a used (old) game. New always digitial.

Not a super-huge collection, but I'm pretty happy with it.

3DS/DS and Super Famicom on the top shelf, found the SFC in my gf's mom's basement, amazing find.

Wii/Wii U and PS2 on the next, made a concentrated effort to collect the best games for both systems.

Game Boy near the bottom (followed by random board games and CCG stuff).

Also a small Steam collection; I've only had a gaming PC for two months, but I've been getting games on sale since last summer, since I knew I'd have a good PC at some point. Really loving it!

I don't have too much I want to add in the immediate future, not too interested in PS4/XBONE stuff, might try to snag a Virtual Boy at some point if I can find a good deal. Will eventually be down for an NX a couple of years after it comes out (just can't go in on a brand new system, even if it's Nintendo, until there are a solid 5-7 games out for it that I really want to play). I've got Smash, Splatoon, and Wind Waker HD downloaded on my Wii U, in case my small Wii U collection seems to give the lie to that statement. :) Would also love to mod the Game Boys with a backlight and to get an artist to do some really dope art on them.

Would also like to get a case/cover art for my loose Skies of Arcadia Legends...how easy is to track something like that down?

I have a few PS2 games in the loft (only 2 on display) and some MegaDrive, N64 and Wii games in the loft too.

Otherwise my collection is below. Hard to get a picture of the whole cupboard as my 'gaming room' is the spare small box room we have - - I can't stand far enough away to get it all in 1 shot!

Really regret selling games over the years - the above is what I have left. I love my original PC games the most to be honest (sentimental)

Same here.

Much of my old games were sold back when I didn't have a steady income, and I've always regretted those decisions to this day. T___T

Yep, I sold a bunch of my games while I was in college and wanted some extra income. I sold some stuff at ridiculously low prices too... Pokemon SoulSilver for like $25, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn for $45, Demon's Souls CE for like $30. I also sold my JVC X'Eye at a yard sale for like $10 and threw away the box. I had no idea the system was worth anything. I just took a look and the box alone is currently selling for $70 on eBay (on an auction with active bidders).

Now I only sell games I know with 100% certainty I will never return to because I disliked them.

I recently took some pictures for another forum to earn some medals, because of the format a few things are missing in some pictures but I figured some of you might enjoy.

Oh I don't have pictures of full sets since they didn't do awards, just that I have tons of sets I could do but haven't due to no awards, lol. Still, I can cross post my post from the older setup thread here since it's a collection thing I guess, I still haven't been able to finish it yet but it's getting there, I was going to redo all the photos when it's done and I get a new camera.

Old post

I'm going to quote the pictures below to help your browsing of the topic. Anyways this is an attempt to tour you all of the floor I hold all my gaming stuff, I tried to order the pictures somewhat logically. To start is the stair well which leads to the floor down, and on that floor is one bedroom with all the older games, a den area with the newer games, and the connecting hallway and bathroom which is inbetween them all. I posted my setup prior, but have since then put in posters, LED lighting and also redid the closet to be a storage area and redid basically tons of stuff. This is basically the final setup, aside still collecting stuff and maybe a couple minor projects that won't impact the aesthetic too much. I also installed security cameras in all the areas so if you're wondering what those odd devices are, that's it :p I hope you all enjoy, this was about 3 or 4 months of work I would say just in terms of the actual setup and furnishing.

Edit: Also the green LED area with the tube tv is a dedicated light gun station that houses basically all the relevant consoles that hosted those sorts of games and require a tube tv, definitely one of my favorite spots :p
