This will be my first Gust game and I'm looking forward to it. Kind of a shame it's an April title (April is so packed this year, what the hell). I'd have liked it early-mid March to give me plenty of time to play it before Dark Souls, Ratchet and Uncharted. Oh well.

I don't think I'm a fan of the art style but the gameplay looks fun. Then again, I thought there was a certain level of fun to be had even in Drakengard 3. This looks far better than that though, obviously.

I can guarantee the battle system is better than Drakengard 3 at least.

Though I loved both games, Azure Nights doesn`t have performance issues like Drakengard 3 and the combat is more dynamic at least.

I can see this being over £100, which I'm basing on the items $ being less than the £ on the stores, e.g. danganronpa 2 LE: $39.99 vs £59.99 and stranger of sword city: $39.99 vs £54.99 etc. I will of course be pleasently surprised if this doesn't turn out to be the case and I'm hoping it won't be, but I am predicting £109.99 - £119.99, which will mean I'm out :<

That's actually quite reasonable. Not sure if I need it though... I have a preorder for 55&#8364; for the normal game..

I'm so glad we're getting all the DLC along with a reasonable price that wasn't a 1:1 conversion of the Dollar for once.

That's a huge weight off my mind!

that's why I don't buy from nis europe store..
I mean...
stranger of sword city price is sick..
I mean, EVEN IF I wanted to...
they would have to put free shipping or affordable shipping ine europe..
shipping rates outside uk are theft, on top of already raised LE price..
when i could buy from nisa, i was always going for limited..
nowdays going for nis europe would mean..

Stranger of Sword City limited edition --> 59 dollar + shipping
Stranger of Sword City limited edition --> 55 pound + 14 pound shipping.
that means it would cost me 69 pound, aka 92 eur, aka 100 dollar..
which pardon me, but it's a biiit too much :)

for the same reason I'll skip night of the azure..

I have no issues with playing as a female character (silent protagonists are a different story however!), I just realised as of late that out of all the media I've encountered for the game, I don't think I've seen a single male character, and I wondered if it was going to be like one of those weird animes where the entire cast is exclusively female. But if that's not the case then no worries.

If I read this right though

We do not bill you for pre-orders when you first place your order, but there will be a pre-authorization charge for the full amount of the order. This pre-authorization charge will be in place on your account for around 30-Days and while we will not remove funds from your account they will be ineligible to be spent elsewhere. At the end of the Pre-Authorisation you will be billed in full for the order and delivery charge.

First NISA will do a pre-authorization charge which will last 30 days before they 'refund' it. Then you'll get charged when your order ships.

I only hope the packaging isn't too showy, I'm having it delivered at work...

NISA always ships stuff in plain cardboard boxes, only the delivery label has a Prinny on it but that's about it.

no this is not one of those games aha but the focus is on the main protagonists' relationship. Both who are female!

Yeah, their expectations have to have been lower than the actual demand. Still, good to see it selling well.

So just to make sure the US LE (not that it's even in stock atm), doesn't come with the themes that Best Buy will get right? Those 4 themes are beautiful and look way better than the Gust-Chan stuff.

Also why is there no Best Buy preorder listing?

those custom themes are available post launch. And I've spoken to a Best Buy Rep and they don't have the game in their system yet <,<. Koei Tecmo also told me they've been trying to talk to them to get the game up but yeah, Best Buy is lagging it.

Ah thanks for the info. I was going to preorder from BB anyway because of GCU so getting some themes for free and saving $3-5 is a nice bonus. Really weird to announce the bonuses and the page isn't even up, especially when the game isn't that far from release.

It's apparently on both Gamestop's and Bestbuy's front since I've been informed that the information for Nights of Azure has in fact been sent to retailers. You'd think Gamestop, a store that specializes in video games would have this on lock when compared to Amazon.

I've pestered the two companies and I receive the same answer that they have no information on that product. Searching your product on your website does little help to resolve the situation -_-.
