Most places let you within 3 months.
well I'm about 4 months out now and Verizon is saying I'm eligible. I'm guessing when a place like Target signs you up on a new contract, all they do is put a request into Verizon to see if I'm eligible.

I believe so, yes. IIRC, Samsung has a PRO lineup which is UHS-II and is supported by their phones. You can even see the branding on their official media pic for S7 with the SD card/dual-SIM slot.
EDIT: My bad. These are UHS-I cards.
EDIT 2: Some *potential* good news:

Too bad that SanDisk PR doesn't explicitly call out the S7/G5 as phones with UHS-II support. But this sounds promising.
GS7 shot looking good.
Has anyone preordered the S7 at best buy in store? Is all of the deals good in store too or is it online only?
I preordered online through Best Buy the deal is the same in store or online.
Wait, so if you pre-order the S7 Edge and outright pay for it (the 750 bucks or whatever), you do not get the VR?
I've never tried the gear VR but I did own an oculus dk2 for a while. I know it won't be exactly the same quality/experience? but is the gear vr worth keeping or should I sell it to make some money back?
I was thinking of getting the S7 later this year, but after looking at those size comparison pics above, I may go with the edge. Is screen size and battery the only differing features between the two phones??
the edge swipe features too.
I can upgrade from my HTC One M8 next month, it's between the S7 and the Nexus 6P. Going to be a tough choice.
Did anyone who preordered from T-Mobile do it with their Jump! plan? How did it work?
Trying to pay off my iPhone and preorder the S7, but only if it works with Jump!
The 6P camera is really good IMO. The question is which do you value more, wireless charging/waterproof/SD or stock android/USB-C?

S6 Edge or did they actually have an S7 Edge to try?Played with the Edge a bit in the store today. It's fucking gorgeous.
It really is. Did you check out the Edge Plus?Played with the Edge a bit in the store today. It's fucking gorgeous.
If you're upgrading through your carrier, I don't think the 6P is an option for you.
S6 Edge or did they actually have an S7 Edge to try?
It really is. Did you check out the Edge Plus?
S7 Edge. There is a Edge plus? I thought there was only two variants?
They have demos at stores already?Played with the Edge a bit in the store today. It's fucking gorgeous.
So is there any adventage to the edge part of the screen on the Edge models?
I'm not familiar with it enough. It looks cool, but I don't see myself ever using the functionality. Same way I disable NFC and heart rate.
I care about screen, battery, camera.
Ugh preordered the edge 7 hours ago from carphone warehouse and still no quidco tracking confirmation. Any other UK people done the same?
A lot of it is just the look of it. Something about seeing the text wrap on the screen, such a cool effect.Hmm. But NFC and heart rate sensor might get some use eventually, but the edge screen I don't really see the adventage.
Scrolling pages from the edge instead of your finger over the screen?Hmm. But NFC and heart rate sensor might get some use eventually, but the edge screen I don't really see the adventage.
I preordered it from car phone but only got 2 emails, acknowledgement of my order and explaining that it isn't out yet and will be dispatched close to launch day.
I have a Nexus 6P but I'm moving to an S7 Edge. Reasons why:I can upgrade from my HTC One M8 next month, it's between the S7 and the Nexus 6P. Going to be a tough choice.
Holy shit. Impressive.

Those comparison pics are crazy, s7 camera is on another level.

That's the explanation I like. If you sat here and told me of the benefits, I'd write you off. It just looks cool and IT MAY provide some users with a addition experience.
For seasoned Android vets it's all aesthetic.
