PS+ September: Journey, Lords of the Fallen, Prince of Persia

And MGSV Ground Zeroes? Damn thing doesn't even have a platinum because it's so short. Gat out of Hell is a shitty ass port.

Rocket League is the only good game that came out of the entirety of 2015. A year of Plus is €50 and Rocket League costs €20. If you didn't need to pay for Plus to play online (the main reason people cry - they're forced to buy Plus and it delivers shit) it would be cheaper to just buy Rocket League.

Haha oh my. This is hilarious

I remember a lot of people complaining about RL on that month (both on the internet and RL) and calling it 'another indie-garbage game'. Good thing that RL being awesome prove them all wrong
Indie games have secretly been better than AAA for years.

That's not a good thing... There are tons of great indie games given away on PS+ as good as RL, the fact that Rocket League is the only one that even nongamers liked makes me sad, as it's almost like it proves them right about the others.

I know it's all subjective but 2015 also saw:
The swapper
Transistor
Rogue Legacy
Valiant Hearts
OlliOlli 2
Guacamelee
Never Alone
Unfinished Swan
Hohokum
Super Time Force Ultra
Super meat boy
Broken Age
Walking Dead Season 2

All pretty solid PS4 titles. Looking back, it was pretty great to experience those.

Those people got served a huge serving of crow, yeah. I remember some not even willing to listen to those who had played the beta and were telling us how good the game was. Pathetic.

As for this month - disappointing selection for me. But only because i already have Journey. Ah well, Amnesia: memories had a mostly positive critical reception and could be worth a try.

ayyyy pretty good month.

If you haven't played Journey boy are you in for a treat

Looking forward to Lords of the Fallen. Been wanting to try it knowing its not worth money lol

cool people really seem to like Journey so I'll check that out.

not sure if Lords of the Fallen is even worth my time but I might check it out. Don't care about any of these other games.

Vita offerings in particular have been pretty bad on PS+ lately it seems.

If you're a PC and PS gamer, the list is pretty bad because half if not more of those games were in Humble Bundles.

I personality hated indie games from PSN+ because months earlier I often got the game plus 3 others for one dollar on PC.
I'm probably just the minority with that problem though.

Lords of the Fallen was actually pretty entertaining, ignore all the BS.

Badland is really good too.

Lords of the Fallen have any better performance on PS4 than on XBO? Got it with GWG a while back and it was basically unplayable.

Not a big fan of the lineup. I own Lords of the Fallen and really disliked it, I couldn't play more than a few hours of it. I'm happy to replay Journey but I guess that's about it for me this month. Maybe I'll try Badland out too.

You are right. Next time Sony should look into your library to make sure you don't have those games!

The games are good. That's what matters.

Does journey have a single player mode?
It's all single player. The "multiplayer" is that you'll meet others also on their journeys and progress with them, but it's the same as your single player game and there's no like "connecting" or loading into the multiplayer it just happens seamlessly.

Did you skim my post? Sony gives away games that often were already in a cheap Humble bundle that almost any toaster laptop could play.

"The games are good. That's what matters."
That's all that matters? If that is so then maybe Sony can start giving away games they've already gave away for on PSN+ after all, it's not like everyone was subbed to PSN+ at the time or maybe didn't even own a PS system.

EDIT: Also wanted to add most people have hated PSN+ games the past year or so. So really the games haven't been very good.

Pretty weak Vita showing this month. I'll take another random PSP game over a mediocre mobile platformer port or an otome.

PS4 is a strong offering, though I already have them (well, Lord on Steam), so meh for me overall.

I let my PSplus expire in August, probably waiting another month before re-upping unless the reception to The Tomorrow Children is interesting enough to snag it just for the online.

Already played LotF and traded it in, but I will like replaying it more than 90% of the games that have been given out the past few years, so I'm happy.

That's a pretty far jump to defend a bad point

I was getting Lords of the Fallen and Bound By Flame confused.

Much more excited now.

spoilers they're both shit

The games have been cheaper elsewhere. Not on the platform Sony curates so it doesn't really matter. I can't play Transistor on my computer but I can on my PS4.

The fact that people hated them doesn't mean games are bad. People want fucking Knack.

As shown tons of great quality games have been part of the program. Some even at release.

Who are these "most people" you speak of? I'm guessing you have zero data to back this up other than your friends. Another victim of confirmation bias. Only info that supports your point is deemed valid, ignoring all the people mentioning the great games they've enjoyed.

There's a good chance your PC actually would be able to play Transistor unless it's pretty old.

I'll agree that sure the games might not be bad, but they certainly aren't very good.

You caught me. All the people who get upset about the games on PS blog are me and my friends.

At best the majority of people think that PSN+ is decent/okay every other month. But that's just me and my friend's opinions.

Wow great month ! Journey is one of the best games of last gen. It truly is an incredible experience.
I already have it but for those who don't, it's a killer month. The best ps+ offer since ages.
Lords of the fallen seems pretty decent so great month overall.

Looks like people don't realise that Sony doesn't decide which game to give away. It's up to publishers and developers. Sony can't just randomly pick Watch Dogs or Black Flag and make it free.
