So what's the definition of "waste of time" anyway?

Is it based on financial success? Because plenty of games don't sell well enough to justify their development costs and Knack is far from the worst in that regard.

Is it critical acclaim? Again, plenty of games fare badly in critical reception, worse than Knack did.

Is it that games aren't relevant to the survival of humanity in any significant way, shape or form? Well, got me there, I guess. That seems a little unfair as a metric, don't you think?

Whatever metric you want to use to justify "waste of time" is going to catch A LOT of games in that net, in no small part because games are a frivolous pursuit in the first place. Videogaming as a hobby would be a far poorer pursuit if everyone who was told their game was a "waste of time" listened.

This makes me so salty. I want to live in the dimension where Puppeteer was a PS4 launch title instead of Knack.

Oh believe me, there are a lot of people out there right now who are salty because Sons gives games like Knack a second chance.

I haven't played Knack yet, so I don't know if it has deserved that 2nd chance, but I do know this decision shows that Sony doesn't kill IPs on the spot if they don't become the next Gran Turismo (sales-wise). And that's cool.

Yes, i agree. I dont understand all the negativity around the game from lots of people, i thought sony was all about diversity, this is a family oriented game. I had tons of fun playing it with my son and i'm extremely excited to see him laughing and enjoying playing the game with me.
