DC Films is headed by Johns and Berg... and just about any WB exec that wants to get involved. The whole belief was being spun out would mean less interference and allow the film division to seperate itself and have some sort of autonomy.

Marvel is headed by Fiege. The buck stops there. He answers to two people, Bob Iger and the guy who reports to Iger. That's it. Fiege pretty much runs the entire thing like a CEO especially after Perlmutter got booted.

Toby Emmerich isn't just any exec. He's the president. Don't know what the chain of command is, but if other execs had their say Snyder nor Ayer wouldn't be given third and second chances respectively.

If only Fiege could take over all live action Marvel, leaving Perlmutter w/ cartoons and comics.

Assuming the DCCU gets past these next few movies and rights the ship, I'm hoping DC Films can be properly spun off in the same way as Marvel Studios is right now.

Marvel Studios proper is less than 50 peeps, working on 6+ projects at the same time. They'd have to seriously expand if they were to take over all the live-action TV stuff from Marvel Entertainment.

That in itself is amazing of them, but if an expansion is needed to pull the entire MCU under the same umbrella, then so be it. I think Fiege and Marvel Studios has more than earned it, and the studio itself can certainly afford it.

I doubt it, but he ain't the one making the rules. When I saw the post, I was surprised he was still around. Just how it tends to go. I'm not trying to defend it..I'm just telling you how it usually goes down when that specific phrase is uttered by someone. 50% chance you getting clapped..

The only comic book movie in the gif is Wonder Woman. The other movies are The Mummy, 50 Shades Darker, the It reboot, Baywatch, Smurfs, and Power Rangers. And in a Rings thread at that.

Quite the hill lol.
