Unless you're earning like 80, 100k+, it's not really disposable though. You need to not think of it as free money cause at some point in the future, you're going to wonder what the fuck you spent it all on and regret the shit out of it.

Being offered new positions at work, it feels weird having options for once. One will get me learning and getting much, much more exposure to the things I actually want to do. The other will have me doing what I'm doing now (which I enjoy) but earning 30k more a year, under a deadass manager.
That is a hell of a dilemma.

You are correct. I am earning around 100k a year atm and i spend my life away but i have traveled lots and had some great experiences. When i did my apprenticeship i should have been stricter with my money..but ya know. Young and dumb.

I just pre-ordered on the EB website with no issue, to pick up in store on day 1.
Yeah EB sent out a message saying if you're not picking up launch weekend then you will get moved to the second shipment.
I'll just be watching Twitch streams.

So is anyone else pissed off we don't have a release date for John Wick 2 yet? It comes out in a week in the US and we still don't even have a rough date for any release whatsoever. I'll be incredibly disappointed if it, like the original, barely has a presence at cinemas here because it's the kind of movie you want to watch at the cinema.

Yeah. I just remembered Splatoon 2 isn't at launch and my girlfriend plays Splatoon daily so looks like I'll be hanging on to mine too.

Yeah I whined about it the other day. My original Valentine's plans were me and the lady seeing a double feature of The Lego Batman Movie and John Wick 2. Now JW2 is AWOL and Lego Batman isn't coming out until March 30.

Will be heavily pirated in Australia and do poorly when it is released in cinemas after the blu ray elsewhere.
Was listening to the new episode of Download This Show, an abc podcast about digital stuff. They had the creator of Good Game on, and talked about about its cancellation and its origin. was pretty interesting.

Especially considering GG: Well Played seemed to be the worst performing of the things on their Youtube Channel by miles. Unless 7 plans to do some kind of serious coverage of competitive eSports with a proper budget etc, but they've never shown much interest in such.

I'm a late 20-something dude from Sydney who works in advertising (though my background is games programming; don't get me started on the Sydney game dev scene). I like long walks on the beach, drowning my sorrows with too much beer and WWE, and I have a nice beard.
On topic: did anyone catch any of the debut WAFL matches this weekend? I really wanted to watch the Lions/Demons game (mostly because my cousin plays for the Lions), but from what I have heard they were some great matches.

Although it's good to see the girls get on TV and the establishment of an elite national league, the standard of play was pretty dire.
I reckon you won't see the best of them until later in the season as the skill level improves.
Not sure that having less players on the field is a good idea. Moving the ball around the field is going to be this leagues strength rather than physical contests or contested possession. Having two less players may make more room on the field but it also reduces the options available to players looking to kick and pass.
But East Fremantle aren't playing Claremont until the 18th of March.
