Ana is def harder to play on console. I have immense respect for any Ana mains on console. They also probably have super high sensitivity to keep up. Well, unless they use kb/m but I'll give them benefit of the doubt.
Her rez can still be so annoying esp after we wipe half the team and they come back immediately.

Yup, on the tame side, I've been getting called terrible things for even suggesting someone should try to change their comp up. Not that I care, I have pretty thick skin so people can say whatever they want and I'm just ¯\_(ツ
_/¯.Not only that, but the other thing that peeves me to no end is when I try to make beneficial callouts and nobody does shit, then EXACTLY what I was trying to avoid happens.
"Hey Rein back up, you're out of position and we're going to end up getting flanked here, get behind the choke (on Dorado, first choke)."
Doesn't do that, gets flanked, fucking dies, enemy team snowballs us.
"Hey there's a Reaper going behind us, can someone take care of it?" (we have a Tracer and a Genji, I'm on Ana and can't stop healing to go look for Reaper).
Reaper proceeds to get behind us, picks me, then ults our entire team, we wipe. Some idiot on comms: "uh there's a reaper behind us", AFTER WE'RE ALL DEAD.

Also MoonMoon playing with a six stack last was hilarious.
So with less than a week in the season I'm back up to 2500. Just gonna go Rein for the rest of the time, makes for easy games. Trying to flex / fill in at around 2800 is what dropped me down to 2500...

The enemy team just got super pissed at my flanking/dodging
Threw a 76, Pharah, Hog (who was just looking for me, not on base, just to hook me), Hanzo, Winston, Junkrat, almost 1/3rd of the team kept swapping to different Heroes to stop me...
Sucks for them cause all those ultimate meters went to waste lol...
Got lucky, but saved my ass and almost the whole team..
Felt good shutting "Die, Die, Die!" Just as it went off!

I like flying around and healing/buffing, but if I were a better Ana I'd probably play her more when we have 2+ tanks. I don't like aim reliance being integrated into healing classes especially with such a strong set of abilities. Next they will have a sniper tank.

Of course it is. Mercy has an instalock no aim required heal/buff beam, and an ult that basically allows you to let your entire team die then rez them again as long as you know how to hide. Ana's utility and healing are both far superior IMO, as long as your Ana can aim.
Might be biased since I play on PC, but playing Mercy is a borefest as to where Ana is one of the most exciting heroes to play (alongside Zarya).

I mean, playing Mercy is just an entirely different skillset tbh. Has the most focus on positioning and decision making based on how she feels she has to commit to healing/boosting/rezzing. She also has next to no focus on any mechanical skillsets. I can see how people would find that more fun.

I've gotten as high as 2857 this season, I think. S1 I got to 59, half way to 60. Both times I slid back down.
Solo queue is hard.
No, and as a result you get way more try-hardy QP games, which I'm totally ok with.

I feel like last buff to Mercy that made her self-regen more quickly helped her effectiveness on console where the game is a bit slower and less accurate so she's escaping danger more frequently. Ana is still stronger if you've got your mechanics down but Mercy can work perfectly well.

When off season comes next week, I'm gonna grind Zarya, Sombra, Pharah, and Ana, since I pretty much have to lock Rein, Winston, or our chubby buddy atm. My aim has been a bit off since moving to Seattle, and I can't quite figure out why lol.
Are we expecting Doomfist stuff with S4? Or will it be weeks after it has started, like sombra?

Why is she bad for climbing? I still don't understand exactly how it works but have enjoyed the times I've played as her (I don't really care about climbing rank too much but good to know)

Higher up you go, the more situational and just kinda meh she gets. The fact you can't pick her often is already an issue. Then you factor in time spent on Mercy is time not spent working on aim, so that just leads to a slight disadvantage when you do need to switch off.
That's about the time I started to leech aim skill away like a vampire.

I'd agree with this, on console at least Mercy seems perfectly fine in her current state, you've got to really commit to chasing her down in team fights early on because her increased regen speed, faster healing and slightly quicker guardian angel cooldown have helped make her a lot less vulnerable than she used to be.
Meanwhile my Ana is at the mercy of my controller accuracy for the day which can fluctuate horribly.

Most game I put a lot of effort into, but sometimes I get grouped up with people who just want to be fucking around, but in comp.. Really?
Attack Symm on Volskaya... She got hooked like 6 straight times
I went Pharah and kept baiting the enemy defense to come to the point so my team to could flush in
Why keep feeding the enemy team, Thank fuck the 2 times I over flanked to get them pay attention to me, our team destroyed their supports, cause group was fractured on their side
2 chasing me, 5 vs 4, 2 dead supports later, guess what we have the main advantage
Seriously, some players think what they see in pro or YouTube clips they can ape
Sometimes you get that magical team that knows what you're doing, no communication necessary
I had 1 Zarya that I wanted to hug forever, who knew where I was, what I was doing, bubbled me during certain situations just to get my ultimate up and keep me alive

I feel your frustrations my dude. The constant cycle of people playing ineffective heroes without communication, constantly poking and feeding meaning you almost never get a full regroup, solo-killing 2-3 of the enemy team then your team gives NO follow-up, etc. The most frustrating is when you make a play and your team is entirely unable to follow-up on it.
I tend to play Zarya (lots of hours, 58-ish% winrate) and am now learning more Ana and Rein. If you ever wanna do queue on PC..add me up. Quote to see my battletag.
When I played it after season 2 it kinda just seemed to throw random people into each game. It's basically qp with competitive rule set. If I had to guess it's probably qp mmr, but I could be wrong.
