Except for the shit tier mixing.

Untagged tracks jumbled together, terrible mixing. After years of waiting. $20. I assume the iTunes version is cheaper but man I'm tired of this lazy shit.

I'm not really into Westside Gunn but if there's one thing he does perfect it's presentation. He's serious about his shit, artwork is taken seriously, tracks are mixed/mastered, etc. No excuse for Roc Marci here.

Shame. Great record that's an absolute struggle to get through sonically. KA is buried in the mix. I'm pretty disappointed with Roc on this. Fire, but I don't think I'll listen to it more than I have. And charging 20 bones for this is fucking laughable.

It doesn't bother me as much as you guys especially on my ultra warm speaker setup, I guess I got desensitized listening to Blu. I'm definitely going back to it, it's like one step away from Roc over Adriane Young production.

Speaking of which....

How do you guys listen to music? I use mostly headphones, though they aren't anything like Des recommends in his headphones thread. I used to use those Klipsch 2.1 speakers, but they aren't all that great, really.

At home I rock mission 753f speakers through a marantz 6011 receiver. On the go I'm just s6 with dunu 2000j. I had a portable amp but found it far too bulky for everyday travel.

I usually use a pair of Fidelio X1 for hip hop out of a Creative Halo soundcard. My speaker setup is just a pair of Philharmonic modified bookshelves and a 12 inch sub I made on one floor and in the basement I have some old school Boston Acoustics A150. I just have an old Onkyo Integra and NAD Preamp driving everything. Kenwood Power Amp as a backup.

I kind of want to build a sort of personal dance club in my future house someday. With the perfect balance of bass, treble, and mid-range.

I have a Sonos setup. There are 3 speakers in my living room and 2 in my kitchen (which has a large opening into my living room.).

Then I have 2 more in the bedroom (+1 in the master bath), 1 in my office upstairs and 2 downstairs in my pool table room.

I usually just link the kitchen / living room together which sounds really good. Speakers are up kinda high and I have vaulted ceilings. But get plenty of use out of my other speakers too; it's nice being able to stream anything anywhere in my house from my phone.

Aside from that I use a pair of Senn's (don't remember the style, not the over the ear kind but nice none the less) and my Mercedes has a decent sound system.

Have a pair of cans at home, Apple headphones on the go, and a lot of music in my car

The HE-400s you recommended some time ago are treating me well. Been eyeing a possible upgrade at some point, maybe LCD2s since I fuck with planar magnetics.

CD and Vinyl are coming later this year so I'm kind of hoping mixing will be better on those (probably not)

Either way, not copping until the CD drops. I can't do $20 for a digital download even for Roc. Compare that to $13 shipped for a CD from Ka.
