That Mass Effect video makes it look like a scifi third-person shooter. If you wouldn't tell me it's Mass Effect I wouldn't even know it.

God dammit.

This Mass Effect Unfinished feels like a video podcast. I haven't really been following Andromeda, are the videos that Brad showed new?

The one shown through most of the Unfinished appears to be a narration-less version of the Character gameplay video they released today. The other clip appears to be from an unreleased Andromeda Initiative briefing on the Nexus hub.

I tried playing the the first Mass Effect and almost passed out of boredom, this looks kind of interesting.

I'll be in handheld mode 99.9999997% of the time so it doesn't really affect me, but hopefully that can be a software fix and not a hardware fix.

Mhm I'm learning what Black Pudding is. Very uh, very horrifying stuff. Wonder if any of the duders have ate that

Black pudding is delicious, not horrifying.

You should try the pig blood curd. They don't even spice it or add any flavouring like black pudding, it's just straight up gelatinous pig blood.

It's really not much worse than a sausage, and if anything it's kind of bland tasting. Key component of the full english tho - it's like a meat sponge to soak up the beans, brown sauce and egg yolk.

Oh I'm good. I don't need to eat pigs blood. I'll just go..have...my artificial pudding.
Please tell me you've at least tried bone marrow on toast? It's incredible.

Listening to this week's Bombcast. That guy whose kids want to watch Super Mario Super Show and the Sonic cartoon on Netflix...same thing is happening with my kid. I taught her to love Luigi so she cries "Weegy, weegy" to watch Super Show. But then the unthinkable happened, she saw the Sonic thumbnail next to Super Show and asked to watch that. What have I done...

What the fucking shit. I was just shopping and got bitched out by a stranger for saying "bless you" when he sneezed. He literally yelled at me and said something like "how the fuck do you know I want to be blessed? God's not fucking real."

Unfuckingbelievable.

I'm waiting for the day when some guy or girl would get pissed at me for saying "after you" before and after getting on/off the bus. Any day now.

I wonder what his GAF name is

Pretty sure 95% of people in this thread are millennials.

The crazy thing is we are probably on the cusp of the post-millennial era taking over. Millennials are anyone born between 1982 (people that legally became adults in 2000) and 2000 (people born in 2000). Next year (2018), the people that were born in 2000 will be legal adults. I've heard (at least in America) that the following generation could be seen as the 9/11 generation. In 2019, the first of the post-Millennials will be adults.

Some people are just so touchy. "Bless You" doesn't really even have a religious connotation anymore. It's just a common, polite phrase.

Fuck streetpass.

Most worthless thing ever.

Harsh. I liked seeing the various countries and such people I Passed with were from. This is going to sound corny, but it added a little mark of permanence from people you otherwise would know nothing about.

I also lived on a college campus for a couple of years, so I probably got more usage out of the feature than a normal American who doesn't use public transit.

My little brother is on the edge of that divide. He turned 18 recently and it's interesting to see the gap between us even though we're only around 6-7 years apart.

Stupid kids with their Snapchats and Instagrams.

I honestly think when people are complaining about Millennials, they are unknowingly tossing in some of the post-Millennials as well, because the early half of Millennials seem completely different from the latter half. Jeff Bakalar is technically a Millennial (he was born in 1982), as are Dan and Drew (and Patrick and Austin). Alex missed out by one year.

I'm complaining about everyone younger than me to be honest. And also people the same age as me. And also people who are older than me.

I've reached the point where Berserk missions are more cutscenes than gameplay

not even kidding I just sat through about 20 minutes of cutscene that was ripped from the manga. Basically all of Griffith's rebirth and Skull Knight jacking human bodies.

I think... I think I was tricked into buying anime.

IGN's Twitter account used the meme as part of a "feud" with Nerdist in the run-up to some competition (Schmoedown- whatever that is) tomorrow.

I'd agree with this statement, yeah. I know the cutoff for Gens Y/Z is considered to be around 2000, but I really would put it around 94/95. Being 10 in 2005 was much, much different than being 10 in 2010 with the rise of smartphones, DSL and such.

And YouTube. YouTube is a big one. It's crazy to realize that YouTube did not exist until 2005. Twitter, not until 2006. Netflix, at the time, was mostly known as a disc rental service. MySpace was the dominant social site. SnapChat was not a thing. Twitch was a couple years off.

Even in 2010, streaming had yet to truly take off.
