Many people threatened to come and kill me (when I was playing CoD online) and I'm still waiting... ah ah !
Most of the time I'm more sad for the dumb isolated asshole that may be on the other side yelling this. Personally I'm ok.
Me too, the salt is what keeps me going.I love getting messages like this as a fighting game player. They almost always come after I manhandle someone. Gives me a good laugh
I only give shit for selfish play(going for pads and not kickoff), people sitting idle, and the wanna trade kids.
What is this?
You join a match, and immediately you start seeing messages about 'trade?' or 'who has wheels to trade,' etc. Folks looking for items that are only found in crates, that you can acquire by trading stuff with others.

Right! And some people wonder why game chat is dying. They say you can just mute people, but why would you want to even create the potential for that toxicity by not just going into party chat.Online multiplayer is a toxic shithole, in every game. There's a reason people use party chat.

I actually enjoy it when an online stranger gets so mad they tell me to go die of cancer or to kill myself.

Detachment then. There's definitely something that makes people talk shit online they wouldn't talk IRL.
I think Trump rallies showed that's not exactly true either...
Those rallies have shown that theyre do that shit when they feel any form of protection.
No it isn't. That type of behavior isn't okay just because it's common. That's like saying humanity isn't "okay." It is what it is.
Turn off quick chat. I turned it off during
the beta.
Also, being offended by dumb comments is just as dumb as making them.
