Who knows with SE anymore. I'd be cautiously optimistic though, things like this are usually done partially to translate older entries finally. And it's not as if they can't port this around if it'll appease the western branches into releasing it.And of course they will never localize this
I'll take physical over VC any day.3 ROMs in a cartridge. Why not just launch VC.
Damn GAF gets excited about anything these days
Wow I was really excited until I realized, is this like.... 3 roms for 4800yen on a card? Literally? These are all the original versions (that's not a bad thing), with none of the remake options or touched up enhancements (maybe I'm mistaken?!)....?
Better quality:
I was excited until I realized that A) Seiken Densetsu 3 means this isn't going to be localized and B) That price tag is mad expensive for... not much new.
I think you mean Square Enix. Not Nintendo.knowing nintendo, this will be in Japan forever.

Presumably if this came stateside it wouldn't be 50 bucks, but like...$30?

If they localize it, it won't be cheap, particularly Seiken Densetsu 3, which doesn't gave an english translation. I expect 49.99 or more for SE to localize if ever

And Nintendo would be pushing for localization if anything, as seen with Dragon Quest. They (almost certainly) won't BLOCK SE here. It's not Nintendo's responsibility to localize a third party game.
What about Sony announcing Grim Fandango on E3 stage or Final Fantasy 7 port at PS Experience stage?
Wow... this is so beautiful! :O
The collection is better without it, in all honesty. FF Adventure is a better game than the remake. No Sword of Mana?
No Legend of Mana aka gods gift aka best rpg all times aka yoko shimomuras greatest hits
So screw you Square Enix.

Wouldn't Seiken Densetsu 3 supporting three players be an enhancement? I'm pretty sure the original was only two players unless you use a patched rom.
