Someone tell me how to "git gud" with Widowmaker.

Also, did they nerf Reaper? I feel like it takes forever to kill anyone, even the weaker characters. I have two goddamn shotguns blasting into your face, I should obliterate you. Instead I get shot down by anyone with a close or midrange gun. Shouldn't a shotgun be more devastating at close range than a machine gun/assault rifle?

QP matchmaking is weird. Enemy team had a 4.6k and a 4.4k and my team is full of golds and below.

I know 90% of my posts are the saying the same thing but I'm gonna say it again. Playing QP and seeing a team of Hanzo, Genji and Widow is an insta leave for me. Nope. Won't do it. Can't do it.

I honestly think she is pretty bland too. Just a large character with barrier, buff, damage reduction and a machine gun/projectile. Not only that, but she doesn't seem to be an important character with a large impact in team comps compared to the other tanks.

I don't know why did they come up with a low mobility tank that enforces stationary poking through barriers. If she was a mobile tank with CC abilities to fight off dive combs, she would be more interesting and more relevant to the current meta.


It is just my early impression of her. I haven't played her that much nor did I fight against her that much in PTR, but that is just my opinion of her right now, which could be wrong.

I don't even want to play with 3 randoms or more, luckily I've had plenty of Gaf games. I'd play with my one friend just the two of us in qp before and it's always exasperating trash. You get junkrats that don't even know how to jump their ults over a payload so it kills at least one person.

Yeah there is something very odd going with their matchmaking algorithm.

Yesterday I was put against 1 diamond 2 platinum and the rest gold and they were all at least level 200+ while someone on my team had level 70 and just doing placement matches, we got pushed in so hard obviously, almost makes me not want to play solo comp ever again, it's already miserable enough being stuck in gold hell blizz.

WTF is wrong with some people!!!! We played in Lijang tower and we dominated the first two round then one master play change to hanzo (was tracer) and we lost the game 3-2!!! WTF man are fucking stupid or what!!

3-1 so far in my placement matches...I'm taking a break because I've been on a roll and every time in my placement matches I've thought "I should just keep going because I'm doing well!" And then end up 4-6 overall. So yeah, stopping competitive for now, maybe finish it out over the weekend, spread it out a little.

And sometimes you play with randoms and get synergy like this. Man that was one of the best competitive games I've played in solo queue since I got this game.

i dont think ive won a match with a four stack on my team. ive heard other say the same thing. do they just dont care because they are with their friends or something. i cant explain it

I think that's part of it. They are mostly picking what they want for fun. That's why I prefer a pure solo queue experience with no stacks. Blizzard get to that.

Yeah, I mean it wasn't a perfect execution, but everyone used their ults in synergy as opposed to everyone panic ulting and popping off one at a time and staggering in to die. So I consider it a win, especially for solo queue.

its just so annoying. Why cant people just try in this game? Its like you are guaranteed to get at least one idiot on your team in comp/qp. Feels like winning is sheer luck sometimes

Ranked is like 75% skill and 25% RNG that you'll get good teammates.

Hanzo starts spamming Rein selection on pre-match as if to say "We need a tank". Then picks Hanzo anyway despite nobody switching.

Cannot even claim ignorance.
