I just realized something
When you adapt a minion on the board with a buff, the ordering is a bit awkward.
You want most buffs before attacking, except for stealth (for windfury it doesn't matter).

So... do you attack first or buff first?

Also, hopefully blizzard doesn't overreact again(like they did with shaman and priest) and give hunter something stupid like Beasttaker, 1 mana 1/2 gains +1/+1 when ever you summon a beast.

It's not awkward, it's an opportunity. If you have the choice, you'll be able to take advantage of it.

Reached legend on EU again (3rd time) playing a tier 3-4 deck
Goya Shaman
JdxTOpo.jpg

Chewing Pirates from rank 2 to legend
Deck is extremely hard to play and need to plan at least 2 turns ahead.

one of them must be a 1/3, hunter doesn't a 1/3...

every class eventually is going to have a 1/3 and a 1/1 card generator, hunter already got that so.

Something simple as Voidwalker beast version would be pretty good.

missing ysera and shaarj so won't be trying that deck which is a shame it looks rather fun. Think I've seen Toast run a goya shaman deck

honestly tho its hard to build a bad shaman tho. just no weaknesses anywhere

Can't wait for the paladin 1/3!
There will never be a paladin 1/3, won't there?

^ Just had a pally use that one me yesterday in Wild. I was on Dragon Priest just trying to finish my quest. When I scryed his deck with Drakonoid operative I felt kinda bad. Found nothing but a bunch of rubbish.

reminds me of when I first started when murloc pally was all the rage.

edit: He did have Tirion though which made me feel less bad bout beating him

That new warrior weapon is interesting will probably see play since most weapons are good and there is a small pool unlike zerus

New mage secret seems like it will see play.

New ooze might see play in highlander decks

The new mage secret is a little easier to play around because they will have to test for both it and counterspell so they will try to use their lowest value spells to do so.

It's statted exactly how it should be. Sleep with Fishes costs 2 mana, so that's a 9/7 7 mana creature. It's all on one card too so it's heaver.

Issue is that in that phase of the game you can't do much with vanilla stats like that. 9/7 for 7 would not see play in Standard. This probably needed something extra to be more usable.

Decent card but doesn't seem good enough in most metas. But the tempo flip it can make is gigantic and that shouldn't be ignored.

You guys do remember what Sleep with the Fishes actually does, right? It deals 3 damage to damaged minions, it doesn't outright kill them.

Yeah the card has a correct cost, but at that high mana seems too late for such an effect

Yeah this is still just a bigger version of that card.

Sleep with fishes: 2 mana don't go close to killing a board full of jades.

This is essentially a defensive Gromm, which is pretty good in a deck that nobody will really play.

1 mana 2/1 beast if you have another beast draw a card.

Without quickshot hunter needs something like this... so hopefully it never happens.

I don't know what you are trying to insinuate here but Sleep with Fishes actually sees play in Control Warrior and will probably see play in new standard if CW is playable.

I think if this card sees play it will be used for more tempo play like you hit something big with a weapon or suicide your minion into something big and then use this as a tempo removal. You don't necessarily have to combo it with WW all the time.

That this effect is way better than sleeps with the fishes? New standard will be more jades which that card doesn't help with.

I agree you don't need to combo it, which is the gromm comparison. That card is mostly a combo finisher but sometimes you just need to kill something or apply pressure.

I like the card.

What does this T-Rex have to do with Warriors? How is its effect portrayed by the visuals/logic of the card in any sense?

I'm supposing you are new, but the color around the card tell to what class they belog to:

red: warrior
black: rogue
green: hunter
purple: warlock
yellow: paladin
deep blue: shaman
brown: druid
light blue: mage
white: priest

grey: classless cards

EDIT: with weapons it is a little more difficult to tell, but there is a color frame in the text of the weapon to tell from which class it belongs

No...I mean from the perspective of class identity what does this T-Rex have to do with Warriors?

it often doesn't have anything from a perspective of the card.

to be honest that is one of the least priorities in the design of Team 5, they focus on making cards, but there isn't anything defined as how a T-rex (or any other depiction for that matter) should fit the thematic of the classes

It might be, depending on how good the quest is. Donais said it would make "control warriors very happy" on stream.
