they won't want the outrage of a $500 system, but i'm definitely expecting $450. i just don't see them hitting the $400 mark at all.

If they make a case for it to be $500 then I think most people would be fine with it. Not having Kinect and being a gaming machine first and foremost helps soften that blow. Having hardware that then supports it costing that much becomes a major factor. Should be a fun time when they do finally announce price/specs.

I don't care what the official MS line is at the moment, or what Phil Spencer says in the coming months, SCORPIO will have exclusive games within 2 years of it launching. They aren't willing to say this yet as it could sacrifice sales in the short term of XONE S and other hardware.

We will see a full VR system implemented and exclusive games.

I say again this makes no sense. The Witcher 3, Battlefield 1 require some of the most beefy PCs to run at their highest options, they are not being held back by working on XB1, PS4 or lower end PCs.

Witcher 3 in particular looks quite a lot better on ultra compared to xbone and ps4, even without mods.

There are Wii titles that look better than 360 and PS3 titles. The developer's visual style matters. Forza and GT simply have differing visual styles​. Forza has never really looked "worse" imo. It just looks different. Both games have different approaches to what they try to focus on artistically.

MS may allow some of their 1st party games to do it, but if you'll notice, almost all MS 1st party games are already running at 60fps by default on X1. 3rd parties are going to just adhere to the LCD rule.

Do we know if MS has the rule of if a Multiplayer game is 30fps on Base Xbox One has to be the same framerate on the scorpio ?

I'm hoping that they don't. Like jelly says we have PC playing with XB1 that have the fps advantage in games like Forza. Gears multiplayer isn't a problem but PC have the advantage in Horde mode.

I'd like MS to not restrict it and allow the devs to choose. Maybe not for competitve modes but co-operative could be more of a thing.

Those people don't have to upgrade their current tv's to really get the most out of a 300$ system.

And why the switch is selling so well is because they have a killer app which is Zelda.

What killer app does Microsoft have for this box? Crackdown 3, Halo 5 in 4k, gears 4 in 4k? Sea of thieves which is a mostly online only type game?

Have to have a reason to buy hardware outside of the hardware itself.
