Not to be a douche about it, but if there isn't any restock ever, you can have my GameStop.com one and just pay the amount. No buyer fees.

Again though I'm not trying to swindle you! I just felt sorry.

Nah, it's alright. I'm just annoyed that both Amazon & Best Buy went up while I was sleeping due to working night shifts.

& I guess really, what would happen is I'll look through the artbook once & then have it sit on my shelf, listen to the CD once & then have it sit on my shelf, and look at the pins to then find a place for them to sit on my shelf. Rather people who truly are fans of the series get it over someone like me who is indifferent to the series but is hearing things that make this particular entry sound more appealing to me over FE Fates.

Plus I'd rather miss out on this LE compared to Persona 5, a game I'm much more excited about.

I did the same too. I pray I'm able to get an order in at Bestbuy.ca when they have it.

Guys its a mini artbook and a sound selection CD. This is so simple and has a $20 markup. Better off importing the eventual soundtrack.

I had it in my cart for Best Buy shortly after it was available, but since it didn't have the instore pickup option, I passed. Not paying for shipping to my home. :p

So in the end, I have an order with Amazon (prime discount), $5 down on it at Gamestop (went into the store), and have the Amiibo 2 pack preordered at Best Buy for instore pickup.

I'll just stick with the Amazon order and will let the Gamestop preorder arrive at my local store. I'll go in and cancel it after I get the Amazon copy in hand. Let them sell it to a customer with good taste.

Just wondering, at what time did the Best Buy LE sell out? I was awake that time, but when I checked BB's website (around 12PM-ish EST), it (still) wasn't listed.

Prob cause everyone first pre-ordered from Gamestop.com being the first one up, and then when Amazon etc. went live, they cancelled the other one. So now GS.com has more to offer out.

Preordered on Amazon.de, but I'm actually not super excited for this. The Fates CE was great and small, like 2.5 DVD cases. This one seems enormous, like to unwieldy Bravely Second CE (which I got cheap long after release).

Letter/A4 sized CEs are just too big, especially for handheld games.

For french people the limited edition is available for 84.90€ at E.Leclerc. Unfortunately they don't offer a delivery option and you will have to retrieve your game on site.

I used to love going to Babbage's but GameStop didn't take long to run that nostalgia into the ground. Shopping there is about as much fun as buying a used car.

There was a time in the late 90's that it wasn't too bad in my area, as they had a good management team in place, but that's long gone. They are now closing a chunk of stores and I'd imagine it's the tip of the iceberg.

I always miss out on Nintendo stuff but this just went live on Best Buy Canada. I panicked and screwed up my visa checkout and locked my card so I had to use PayPal.

Yeah.

In this case, I guess it was my first resort. I had a feeling Amazon would put the shit up while I was asleep, and I was right on the money.

I hate not getting that Prime discount, but at least I'll get the game.

Hmmm. I've placed an order for the special edition. Hard to know if I really want it though, I don't know if I'll like the two characters yet, you know? Still it's not a lot of $ for two amiibo and some cute pins if I do end up liking the game a lot. I got it for £66 though, not sure I would have went in on £75.

German retailer Media Markt has it up for 90 EUR, Saturn has it for 80 EUR. Ordered it at the latter now.

With the two Amiibo and the game, all the extras are basically free at that price.

This is late but I want to come out and say that I've learned that it seems as if there may be a weapon triangle after all, according to hands-on impressions of the game last month. I don't think it's quite like the one in Fates though.

Ordered it from GAME for the sole reason that I had just over £6 of credit on my card (last thing I remember buying from them was Bravely Default in December 2013)!

Apparently the last thing I bought from them online was a preorder of Mario Kart 7 back in 2011.

No there isn't a weapon triangle but enemies can have skills that halve damage from certain weapons.
