This seems to be the biggest Gameplay/Balance change announced.

Also I wonder how ammo will work in PvP now. Will Heavy ammo spawn like it currently does? Will it change and spawn like current Special ammo does? Something else in between??

apparently heavy only drops for the person picking it up now

I wish. Your mouth to Bungie's ears. Would be amazing. As it is, I honestly might just double dip, have one character on PS4 and one on PC rather than 3 characters on PS4. Can't share items but otherwise won't be much difference.

Ugh. That would be disappointing but smart, as it would push more Destiny fans to buy the console version first and then the PC later. I mean, even if I decide to play it on PC, there's no chance I'd sit around and wait while I could be playing the PS4 version.

I have a feeling I might double dip (PS4 and PC), especially if the game comes out later on PC.

They didn't say it about PC during the reveal either.

The big thing that happens with these types of events is that there are a ton of different employees around all the different Media players... so you sometimes get conflicting or inaccurate info, or info snippets that aren't supposed to be talked about.

Sticking with PS4 for the sequel. Higher resolution and frame rate sounds great, but it's not going to matter much if I don't have the usual people to play with. I'd rather focus on the community. Plus, I've had some not so great experiences with PC multiplayer games dying out far earlier than their console counterparts. Sure, they aren't as big as Destiny is, but it's still enough of a factor to just wait and see for PC version.

If there are cross save / cross play for PvE content, I might actually double dip down the road. Until then, PS4 will work fine for me.

Ammo could work the same.

Primary = Kinectic
Secondary = Energy
Heavy = Power

Pretty sure the only other 60fps "competitive" fps that we know about this year is Cod? battlefront 2 if you want to count that as fps? even though it can be played in TPS.

We don't know if it's P2P yet I hope not but we just don't know yet.

Glad I play warlock as captain America is my least favourite superhero.

Speaking of powers. The warlock buff bubble looks like it heals. Wonder if it can be configured in such a way to be a healer class?

If they were brining Dedis they would have said it today IMO. It is not something that you can just add in at the end of development.

What they announced today didn't sound to me like raid matchmaking.

I have always been support an in game group finder or some good wait to find groups in game. No reason for you to say "EAT IT".

I am still against a push button matchmaking system, and it doesn't sound like they are offering that... details are still sparse.

But it sounds like your gonna have to sign up for a clan.

I like what I've seen of Destiny 2, but Bungie's idiosyncrasies when it comes to addressing the fanbase just make my blood boil:

- No straight answer (officially) on the whole framerate shenanigans on console vs PC.

- No straight answer for PC release date.

- No straight answer for PC/console cross-save functionality.

I like the trailers and everything the speakers said, but it seems to me they really had an opportunity to galvanize the community and bring some clarity to the fan concerns, but as usual, we get alternative facts.

I was expecting a 12 on 12 or more mode actually. There's thousands of guardians and you mean to tell me only a couple of them are fighting among each other? With huge maps and crazy abilities, the more the merrier.

Just finished the stream...

Wow, didnt think it could live up to the hype but that looked awesome. Although might have to double dip with no cross save talked about.

The social and patrol additions are stellar, seriously gonna be awesome.

Also captain titan ftw, laughed so hard when he missed that first shield toss.

Not sold on poledancer yet or sunbreaker 2.0 but Ikora going full badass I loved.

Also noticed enemies dont have levels next to there names now, level scaling being introduced? They have ranks instead if it wasnt noticed.


Mod slots on guns and a wierd purple currency next to the glimmer in the menu, maybe new token item to buy gear?

Loving Titan, visually looks unique which is great and Nes looks like the black garden on roids but very fitting since its a purely vex world. Io just looks like venus 2.0 which was a bit of a letdown.

Also Iron Banner is pretty much confirmed in that social video, iron banner armored titans.

Not sold on 4v4 pvp, control is just gonna feel weird without 6 players but guess we will see.


Overall I dont think they could have done much more to please the community outside of cross save on all platforms.

Cant wait for all the footage from the community members invited and can see long ass videos coming from byf.

Hopefully that kinda stuff does get added in down the line.

4v4 is such an odd number. 6v6 makes sense because fireteams are 3 man, but 4v4? Eh..
