I remember Miura making the Sword of Actuation creepier and more intimidating looking and not something I'd see used on Chaturbate. I already know they're going to fuck up the next ep cause that segment has some of my favorite moments.

Dear god the animation in this episode was horrid... I am just sticking with it to see the Berserker Armor in action. Not sure why I am torturing myself... I know they are going to mess up that fight...
So they can rush past where Miura is and give us an anime only ending... *shudders*
Because this anime was a one-off thing. They clearly don't believe that it's going to get renowned for another season, so they're trying to cram and speed through as much of the story as possible. Once again, it reminds me of a movie based on a video game, except it's even worse than some of the ones I've seen.
I bet the budget was shallow as fuck, it just shows in every facet of this series.
Budget isn't the issue. This anime presumably has about the same budget as One Punch Man. The problem is that it's made by people who don't know what they're doing, and it shows badly.

Masamune Sakaki, a CG animator, said that an average 13-epsiode anime season costs around 250 million yen (or $2 million USD). One Punch Man and Berserk 2016 were both a cour of 12 episodes. It was reported that One Punch Man did not have more than an average budget, and there is absolutely no indication that Berserk's budget was less than average, so they both likely cost around this amount.
Along with that, Takayuki Nagatani, the producer of Shirobako, said that the budget for his series was 500 million yen (or $4 million USD) for 24 episodes.
Shinji Takamatsu, a vetern animator, said that the average late night anime budget is between $1.2 to $1.6 million. He states, "Expecting to make that up through disc sales alone is a hopeless business model, but that's how almost all late night anime are."
Japanese people like hand-drawn animation. Realistic CG like they produce in Hollywood doesn't sell in Japan. CG isn't so cheap and can cost more than hand-drawn animation.

So why the fuck are they still doing CG anime (especially tv series)? Unless they get it to look like Guilty Gear Xrd and without choppy animation I don't see how anyone thinks that's what people want to see.
Man I'd wish Berserk would get the same treatment as Hellsing Ultimate or one of the FATE stuff which had awesome animation and visuals.

I've been ignoring the anime's entire existence but just saw those gifs and holy shit how is this the anime adaption of the infamous Berserk? I kind of want get really drunk and watch this second season to see how bad this gets.
