I lied to myself and say this is a short-term investment for a lot to keep me occupied for a while. It's really not a lie, I've genuinely never seen a sale like this, and I'm still not convinced it isnt some sort of bizarre pricing error.

Okay so, when I go to my digital orders page on Amazon - all my comics are shown. When I purchased them and everything.

But they are also listed under my "open orders" page too. Open is usually meant for items that haven't finished the transaction.

Should I be concerned?

Yeah that's like the only reason I'm spending way more than I ever would. The insanity of the sale is impossible to pass up and from what I've read here this is a helluva alot cheaper than buying these comics in any other sale. Apparently the discounts here are unprecedented. Also I'm trying to limit myself by avoiding runs still in progress since there's so many complete runs to catch up with.

Considering Comixology usually offers sales at 3.99 to 5.99 most in here are 1.80-3.00. Absolutely unheard of. Picking up Miracleman for 10 bucks is akin to a literal miracle

Pretty much up for anything good. Was mostly looking at the epic collections so I have a lot to dig through, 1602 because of neil gaiman, Vision vol 1+2, House of M, Messiah Complex, Vol 1 of Vader but not unwilling to get more if they're good. I'm also torn since pretty much all of this is on the subscription services so no real point to go super super crazy on spending.

To cancel an order do I have to use customer service? I couldn't find a way to cancel an order natively, impulse bought all the Brubaker Captain America but then realized it's on Marvel Unlimited.

If there is a DC Sale similar to this I am absolutely fucked. Marvel Unlimited saved me a lot of money here but I still forked out a decent chunk.

I am intrigued by Magneto from Ian McKellan's depiction of him in the films so wondering whether to get Testament and part of the Magneto solo series or not. Otherwise, any other good recs for a comic novice partial to the X-Men, Spider-Man, Avengers from MCU but who has not seen Guardians of the Galaxy?

Also, any thoughts on Age of Apocalypse? I'm afraid of going in the rabbit hole in continuity and trying to keep track of it all but it seems like an intriguing AU and perhaps worth the jump at these prices... If it helps, I'm partial to action but I have a weakness for character development and relations being explored. I guess you could say action without heart behind it is basically boring to me.

I merged my Comixology account that I've had for a few years with my Amazon account and now my whole library is gone. WTF.

EDIT: I tried something in the options menu called Restore Purchases and it fixed things. I'm not happy, though. I don't know what they were thinking.

EDIT: Some of my comics are still missing, including the 700 or so that I got from their Marvel free #1s promotion.

EDIT: Ok, I tried putting some of the issues I'm supposed to own in my shopping cart. (not sure why) They went in there but then when I went into the shopping cart it said something like "Removing Issues You Already Own From Shopping Cart" and now they show up as downloadable. But only the ones I've put in the cart.

I just merged accounts a couple days ago. I didn't lose anything, but nothing I bought before the merge on Amazon has synced yet. Contacted support and they said it often takes 72 hours to sync up though I'm about to hit that mark tomorrow.

I've been going back and forth on grabbing it. There was really nothing about it that interested, aside from the high reviews.

I'm thinking I'll take the gamble and go for it, especially for the discount.

I completely forgot I had a $50 Amazon gift card from months ago - redeemed it this morning and bought "a couple things." Sat down tonight to burn through the rest of it buying comics and... in the morning I'd actually burned through all $50, without realizing it.

In fact, my morning purchases totaled exactly $50 on the nose, through sheer coincidence.

You'll just need a "device" to send the purchases to so download the kindle reader app to your phone and log into your amazon account there to register that device. After that, delete the app. All your purchases will show up on your comixology account.

You can also just download the "Kindle for PC" app and not deal with comixology at all.

Doh..oh well.

Went ahead and grabbed Punisher Max 2-5 (already have the paperback for 1) & Infinity Gauntlet.

Now to see how what else I should pick up.

Edit: hmm...Wow..A little overwhelmed here. Anything I should pick up that's similar in tone/style to Punisher Max?

This is bullshit, I bought the Steranko Nick Fury book and the Amazon listing clearly says it's 248 pages, but then when you go to read it it's only 20!
