This is actually a thing.

Thresh has always been popular/decent back-up in pro play but he seems to be getting a lot of WW face time atm.

Were there any specific buffs to him or is it just the item changes / Targon's change brought him back into play?

Early on I saw a lot of people saying he was coming back due to Coin changes but now I dunno

I didnt know Riot Figures have a small autentification card when you buy one, for a moment I thought it was some sort of digital content

Wow. I want to just point out that this video is fucking awesome. Costy, you should tell Riot to do more of these types of videos. i think something like this gives a really new an unappreciated view of the development process. I'm sure we all knew that making these are not easy and you guys spend a lot of time but the video is very well made, narrated, and above all very coherent in the things you guys care about when designing skins and some of the thought process that goes into them. i'd love to see something along the lines of this for a champion design or a champion remake or things like that. I know we get the general narration from one person but this video is much more organic much like how the Making of Halo 2 video does. There's something cool about a persona narrating but at the same time seeing the recordings of developers' conversations as they're working throughout the day. Really neat stuff!

Reminds me a lot from Bungie ViDocs,

I did not! This is awesome. I"ll check it out. Also, ViDoc is a good reference too!'

EDIT: Just watched it. It was really good but I don't think it's as good as the other one. There's a lot of irrelevant filler clips. A lot of narration and not necessarily developer convo and insight. Not a lot of failure talk, which is what I really enjoyed about Halo 2 documentary. That one really felt real and had a narrative to tell. This one was still good though!

I hope they touch up those Jhin wings like they said they would. How cool would it be if they unfurled and exploded in a giant plume of angelic feathers. It would fit his character so well.

But those designs are 🔥

That nami skin is hot fire. Euler what do you think of her skin?

Also I played league while drunk which is a bad idea. Lost like 5 games by a landslide. I couldn't even land bubbles.

Lucian is so strong right now. A skilled player can clown a whole team.

Anyway I am still in gold 4 but I dropped from a close promos to 0 lp. Oh well

i think it's specially cool that they're like moving away from the more obvious esports styled skins. i think at this point it'd be really redundant to keep making skt skins in the old style

this makes me wish someone other than skt wins so we get like an awesome edg set or something

then again maybe they'll do like a taliyah skin for faker or something next...

The stagnation is something to worry about, where are the others team desire to be the winner

Really cool to see Riot moving away from the classic headset gamer sort of design with the Worlds skins. I appreciated the idea, but as more championships go by, that theme starts to get old. I really like how the team members have such direct influence on their skins. They have such neat ideas too.

Personally I liked the team jersey style. Probably won't buy these, but I appreciate Riot going the extra mile to make each set of skins truly representative of the players behind them.

That Nami sushi though.

Somewhat agree, but when they've already got so many skins this seems like the right approach to take.

It's bullshit the 'play game' button is right next to the 'X'. Meant to press X to get rid of the window to report the Lee and went back into the game lobby. Who thought this was good UI design??

i haven't played in like three weeks and i already got a decay warning

I like jersey skins but a team that won multiple times getting them every year gets really boring.

I fucking hate Vayne players again.

Reminds me of Season 2 where I would lose every game with Vayne in our game. They build Shiv and other spd items and start engaging the other ADC who have IE

I think it looks good. Excellent recall too. It's a colorful skin too so that's a plus.

This year's championship skins really are of a higher quality than all the previous ones.

Nah, it's a month wherever you are. Gold does not have decay though.

It's every month...it has always been this way. One of the biggest reasons I don't play ranked.

Hey guys, dota player who hasn't played LoL in over a year(aka scrub). Would love to have some chill friends to play with. Anyone down?

ah that's a bummer

decay sounds like a weird concept to be in the game now

like i'm not necessarily against it and you should be able to demote if you do bad but it's weird that you can lose your accomplishments just because you haven't played in a while

btw riven skin so good

There is no value to high rankings if you can just grab it and keep it by not playing, and as you get higher in the ladder you need to force people to actually play so queue times aren't a fucking nightmare as you'll have way less people in said ranks to play with than in silver.

and one game a month isn't much to ask, but it still feels weird, like left overs from old riot

queue times are fairly rough at high plat/low diamond tho so yeah, anything to get queue times quicker is good

is new champ select faster? i think the worst thing about bad queue times is the amount of dodging that happens
