Friday the 13th: The Game |OT| You and your friends are dead. GAME OVER

Crush head against wall is one. Pretty sure I remember one involving impaling on a tree branch. Quite a bit actually.

They are quite rare though, I think you should get like double xp for doing them or something. Right now unless you have a pocket knife you're never escaping a grab and most Jason's just try and busy out a kill straight away.

How many environment kills are there? I've seen like 2 since most Jason's just use a regular grab kill for time efficiency.

I know there is the sleeping bag One, the fire place one. Coat hanger one. Thrown through a window. Campfire One, one where you throw the counsellor against a wall then stamp on their back while they lay on the floor. Any others?

He folds the counselor up in one of the chairs... That is the only other kill I have seen (other than the ones you listed).

Going for environment kills will usually lead to counselors escaping.

My computer is from 2010, basically I can run Blizzard games which doesn't say much.

Should I get this on PS4 or PC, the pc is future proofed and is currently $10 cheaper when it comes to prices for Canucks like me.

PS4. Mainly because I want to play with more people from GAF...

Drown in toilet.

There is also the Bird Bath which can be found near cars sometimes and the Water Spigot which you can find at the barn on Higgins. I think the last one that I haven't seen/done is the Record Player.

Head slammed in the door is one.

There seems to be a bunch but require you to be in a rare spot. Like in the cemetery Jason can pick you up and slam you down on the metal spiked fencing. Also in some parts of the forest there are tree stumps with jagged edged, which Jason can toss you onto.

You do extra xp for environmental kills over regular kills you do, they are just hard to do so it's often luck to pull them off in that you just happen to be near an object when you grab a counselor.

people working with jason are ruining the game, at first it was super fun and hilarious and i even used to do it, but now it's not fun anymore, i was just about to fill the boat with gas and escape then jason showed up out of nowhere, i thought it was luck since i was like the second to die, but then i saw that there is a guy working with him taking him to us

there should be a report system because this is getting out of hand, or just don't allow anyone in a party to be Jason, if everyone in the lobby are in a party, Jason should be controller by an AI

They said they're working on a report system.

So people cheesing the one big bridge, where they can crawl under in via the edge, where Jason can't get to them, and just wait out the game timer to survive. Lame

Also wtf you can sell Perks? why is this not explained better or a sell button somewhere? Didn't see any indication on screen and found out by accident that I could do it by right clicking on perks

I'd be surprised if your videocard could even run the game, assuming it's also from 2010.

My CPU/Motherboard is from 2010 but replaced original videocard (Nvidia GTX 480) with an R9 290X 4GB in 2014, F13 is very playable on the High preset / 1080P (50-60fps)

I was actually in a match where I helped kill Jason.

I knocked off his mask but died shortly after. Tommy and one of the women counselors did the rest. You get 500 points when Jason dies. Feels like it should be more.

All were dead - the last three, after trying to leave me behind by leaving in the car, had been murdered. Here I stand, in a single room cabin, one window, a poorly placed trap and a wrench, I was doomed. Until this happened - easily my best escape.

Question. Does Luck play any factor in stunning Jason?

I'm wondering if I should choose Chad or Brandon for fighting Jason.

Not sure how true the below is - I thought luck played a roll in finding items as well. Disappointed it doesn't. Just seems like with higher luck players I find more useful items than with lower luck players.

Increases weapon durability and gives minor increases to many other stats. Also increases chance to stun Jason.

The increases to other stats are as follows:

Decreases the amount of Stamina consumed when performing a dodge while in Combat Stance.

Slightly increases the amount of Stamina you receive after landing an attack on Jason.

Slightly increases the amount of Stamina you receive after breaking free from Jason's grab.

Slightly reduces the amount of stamina you lose when blocking one of Jason's attacks.

Slightly reduces the amount that you stumble when fear is high.

Slightly reduces the amount of noise you make.

More swings before weapon breaks. (weapon durability)

Chance to not take damage while climbing out broken window.

Alright, I've played 3 rounds, 2 as survivors and 1 as Jason. Funny how this game seems to be everything from hilariously amateur, through delivering some some fun and become intense AF :O Though I'd still pick this over Dead by Daylight. Also some kind of Halloween, as a fully licensed game just like this, would be super awesome! Then maybe an another staring Leatherface dude!

Should be 5,000 for as damn Rare it is.

Well heres a new one....

Guy in our game starts complaining about jason cheating. So I ask what the player is doing, figuring hes talking to counselors or something. "Its bullshit that he can teleport around map and that he can shift and grab you, he shouldn't have these abilities he never did in the movies. Thats cheating".

Like...ok.

Gotta say, this is one of the coolest games I've ever played, extremely cool/creepy at times, bone chilling at others, and just keeps you on the edge of your seat!!! And this is coming from a Freddy fanboy who always HATED Jason!!! lol

Got in a 1 v. 1 match with a rando last night. It was surprisingly fun - but this is probably just because I was AJ and had a whole map of goodies to collect myself. Imagine it was pretty boring for the Jason.

I played a 1on1 as Jason a couple days ago. It was a lot of walking around the map until one of the houses lit up red towards the end of the match. Then I just went over there and started stabbing the beds, and viola.

It was pretty cool though just stalking one person. It's as if the whole match was the ending to one of the movies.

Man I don't know how you guys could play a 1v1, I would feel like it would be impossible to escape.

I did manage to pull a "Final Girl" at one point after Jason had merced everyone and I hopped into a car. Seriously, there's no better feeling than managing to drive away from Jason as he teleports closer then misses each time.

I love helping my team and I love when I receive help back. I'm glad a majority of this game realize team work is pretty crucial. I've run into a few idiots who attempt to kill me because I found a part they want, but Jason always seeks them out so it's fine.

Yeah when you get players who understand the game and the value of teamwork, it's a great experience. On the flip side I really hate getting stuck with idiots who never lock or even shut doors and run around everywhere.

That is what I have been running into the past few days. No one was using a mike which makes it next to impossible to survive.

Yeah in situations where I'm in a mostly quiet lobby I tend to shift priorities towards things that are more do-able alone like fixing the phone or boat. That or I just try to lay low for 20 minutes and avoid any players who are running around recklessly since they'll basically be Jason magnets.

So I bought this last night. Have gotten into 6 games so far, only one completed, my first match where I killed all the counselors. Two more Jason games ended with host issues, two counselor games ended with host issues, and just now I was Jason and off to a good start and yep, host left I guess. How the fuck did they not include host migration? Tempted to ask for a refund.

I bought a decapitation axe kill, how do I do it?

Go to Customize, then Jason, select one of those 4 diamonds and choose the kill, then repeat for the 3 other empty boxes. Then do that for every Jason you've unlocked.

So I'm still a bit confused on how stealth is supposed to work in this game. Last session I was the only one left alive, and tried to hide myself from Jason (none of the objectives had been done and it seemed too risky to go after them alone). It didn't work, even though I:
- was playing the nerdy glasses chick with high Stealth (9)
- had Pamela's sweater, which I thought was supposed to make you invisible to Sense
- stayed crouched and perfectly still in a nice secluded spot obscured by bushes from most sides

Jason spent a while searching the map for me, but then later warped in and headed right towards me. Is it possible he actually legit sensed me? Or am I right in thinking I *should* have been impossible to detect (meaning someone on the spectating team was chatting with him and ratted me out)?

P.S. They should implement a hotkey or option to disallow spectating on you if you're the last one left alive, or something. Folks probably just don't want to sit and wait minutes for the match to end, but it's still kind of shitty.

Yeah, half the stats are definitely hard to see clearly in practice. The sweater only allows you to stun him if you activate it near him, but offers no other benefit, AFAIK. Having your flashlight on will reduce your fear level buildup at the potential cost of making yourself stick out, but you will still occasional ping as high level stealth characters, and your rising fear level by being out in the woods will point you out in red pretty easily. Being last one alive will still require some active effort for Deborah. I keep the flashlight on and point it into walls or rocks while crouching, but an average level Sense check can still find you if they're looking in the right direction assuming they're close enough.

Yeah, one of the flaws with this game is not really knowing if Jason can definitely sense you or not since there's so many factors in play. On one hand it increases the scare factor, but on the other hand it makes strategy trickier.

I'm pretty sure it does SOMETHING to improve stealth. For one, when I played Jason it definitely was harder to spot those wearing it - as far as I could tell they only pinged the sound circles but didn't flash red with Sense on for me (unless they entered a building, I think that still gives them away as the building lights up).

Also, in my case even after the guy found me, I actually managed to sneak away from him again briefly after using a pocket knife. I ran away a short distance, then circled around some rock in sneak mode, and ... he ran past me oblivious! He lost me again for a short bit (he did come back soon and got me since I had nowhere to run or hide anymore). I don't think that trick would have worked unless the sweater was hiding me because the dude playing Jason was pretty good at the game (hence why everyone else was dead so quickly).

I need to quit playing quick match. I've had few multiplayer experiences as infuriating as a Jason and counsellor working together.

I get it, you're friends but how about play the fucking game instead of wasting everyone's time.
