Future Trunks fighting with a sword would be a given. Would be nice to see the Power Pole if they ever did Dragon Ball, but I don't see that happening unfortunately.

As far as her suggesting that they want to get non-fighting game fans into fighters, well, the recent sales boost for GG Xrd -Revelator- would suggest that their mission has already been accomplished to some extent!

• Beerus & Whis are two of Dragon Ball's best antagonists (not villains) who helped revive the franchise. They first showed up in the Battle of Gods movie & were brought into the series as of Super.
• Zamasu is the most recent villain from the Future Trunks arc of Super. That said, you could swap him out for Goku Black.
• Tao Pai Pai was a recurring villain from the original Dragon Ball (& a great one, at that), & OG Dragon Ball definitely deserves some love in this game.
• Hit's the new recurring rival in Super who made his debut in the Universe 6 Tournament arc.

I like SSG/SSB a lot, I like Goku's new gi a lot, I like them bringing the supporting cast back a lot... I don't care for anything in the Goku Black arc really? Goku Black is a really lame and lazy villain, Future Trunks being back sucks (he deserved his happy ending, fucks sake let him rest), the Vegeto retcon sucks, the spirit bomb sword sucks, etc. Also don't like the girl Saiyan designs at all, which is sad because GT Pan was already great and fit in well with the rest of the cast.

I also don't think it's fair to compare animation stills to Z, which came out like 20 years ago. If anything it should be compared to Hunter x Hunter. I've still never heard any reasonable justification for why Super looks so much worse than HxH, which was also a weekly shonen.

I'd like to see Beam Clashes simply work with projectile strength, and MAYBE the ability to sacrifice meter in order to Super-Burst the projectile. But that's really about it. Keep it within the rules that other things do for in fighters, and it's not simply a fan-driven addition, but a tactics-based one.

As far as Kale, Cabba, etc... I feel like they're a Toriyama-driven design to have a branch of Saiyins that fit the style he likes to draw in more, lately. He likes more comical, slapstick stuff. They don't destroy the previously existing Saiyans, and whatever rules they go by are in an alternate universe.

I did hate Cabba's look when I first saw him. But he grew on me more as I saw there was method to the madness.

Having the first big deal female Super Saiyans in this game would probably do more for it's chances to get fans / pros / a large swatch of people playing than almost any of the non-main Z characters. And to see ASW's style bring them a bit closer to the "90's style" is a great chance to see their designs officially made less "FanartDoNotSteal!" and more like that of the best fights of classic DBZ.

Times change. Long running series these days get smaller budgets per episode unless its an important one (say the final battle of an arc) while series with like only 20-ish episodes done in advance get more budget to spend on quality
