We are at page 340 (50 ppp). Whois going to do new OT. I mean, those last 60 pages should fill fast during next weeks. Few suggestions.

I got one this morning that was 66% with expendable items... Only thing was I used members of my adventure/arena teams. So, they were gone for 12 hours now. I used 5 adventure coins to speed the process up though. Looks like TM farming all day today.

I have to say, few things still impress me in this game, but the damage I'm seeing from CG Sakuras with more than 1k MAG, with no chain bullshit or whatever, is the most incredible thing I've ever seen in this game.

There is still not a lot of talk around her, but when she gets close to release here, I predict even more meltdowns than Orlandu. She does millions of damage with barely any help, it's insane.

OK in general is a disappointment, he might be very versatile, but without the specific imperil he is just ''weak''. I won't chase him anymore as he won't really help me as I thought he would. Unless his enhancements add imperil he really isn't in the same ballpark as Aileen, Orlandu or Sakura.

Also kudos to Visceir for having the only character able to solo this raid boss considering how shitty my roll of characters was. Enhanced Aileen is just broken lmao.

[JP] Agreed with everything you just said. I have Sakura and obviously I don't have the gear for her yet but I was saying to Muku the other day that I seriously like this character, and am considering going in for her when she comes to GL. Her thundaja just gets so strong it's ridiculous. And the fact she can dual cast almost every important skill is just nuts. And then there's her chained LB. It's something else.

Also agreed with OK. I feel he is a unit where you absolutely must have a duplicate present. I don't feel that way with Aileen, Du, Frye etc. A dupe makes them ridiculous but they work fine by themselves. As you said, Visceir's Aileen can solo the raid.

Finally got enough points to get Omni Rod. Big power boost for my Sakura. Working on getting awakening materials now so I can get her and CG Fina to 6*.

You should get all the 6* materials by the time you finish the second island, from those rookie missions. If not you can get whatever is missing from the INT Maze.

It's incredible how friendly this game became for starters. They straight up gave us 100 sacred crystals and holy crystals and almost all 6* mats for at least one character lmao.

Since I don't have any chainers I'll aim for two, but also comparing him to enhanced Tidus/Aileen/Orlandeau is a bit unfair, hope JP will get OK enhancements before his banner hit Global.

O yeah for sure. My main issue is just the fact that he really shines at chaining, so for me a friend OK isn't that useful as I don't have one. But you've been saying for a while that you're aiming for 2 and have been saving accordingly so in your team they'll be insanely strong.

He probably is the next one of the chaining gods to get enhancements and they will probably make him the best character in the game.

As he is he does a shit ton of damage on his own, don't get me wrong, he is still stupid as fuck. But he really really needs another copy of him to actually shine as his chainer brothers. When I say shine I mean killing the newest Uber powerful boss in 1-2 turns btw. The OKs I've been using as friend units don't survive long enough without support (I have no support whatsoever in this account) to kill this new raid boss >.>

Tilith and most units will probably be forgotten few pages into the new thread. Next OT title should probably try toreference 1 year anniversary + some kind of joke about everyone still doing poorly.

Having seen the new Terra Battle 2 reveal and gotten a glimpse of SinoAlice makes me appreciate Alim/Gumi even more so for how well they've done managing the games.

Love that the game has an actual world to explore and they've been on point with providing updates and content at a steady pace.

I hate Hope so much. (And Garnet, because these two plague me.) Gotten lucky on JP so far. But the last two dailies have been the stupid left unit on JP banner. Have merged but I would like something other than multiples of that stupid thing.

Not joining Mount Doom. I don't want to get banned. LOL

I wonder if it's better for me to chase another unit, I really like Dark Veritas but he's with Fire and I hate double rainbow banner, plus I need a chainer not a finisher.

Otherwise I caught up on Earth and Gale key, that was pretty quick since you get all of them for unlocking all the vaults.

The thing is though if you have 2, or a friend one, he is amazing. The ones I've used haven't had his TM either so there's that to factor in, as that move from the sword is very strong.

So I got another rainbow on JPN but I don't know who it is or if they're good or bad. He's a sword user, got brown hair and wears gold armour with red clothing. Anyone know who I pulled? XD

[JP]i was wondering how you guys were awakening your characters since i have 6* material only from maze and the raid.

how is visceir soloing the hardest tier of the raid boss, I can only do second to hardest.

If you get to the end of the second island the missions (top right on the main screen) give you 30 of each. I'm nearly at the end now myself.

Fina and Tidus hands down. You should get enough to nearly max one of them as long as you do the Maze only and nothing else until it's gone, a lot of luck required though.

Laughed far more than I should at that one.

New island 100% in the books. 130 quests in the log. Aurora 9 was a total PITA and glad that's over with. Enhanced Garnet does stupid-tier damage with full buff to JP damage levels when summoning.

Facing serious metal god drought, as I haven't seen one in three days now. Feels bad man, again.

Mental break time.

Nice! If I can't finish it by then (need my TM's for Orlandeau but around 70%) I may have to ask to borrow him. Really good vid again btw. Especially handy for new players since it highlights some choice TM's and gear that are reasonably attainable. I'm probably gonna write myself a shopping list based off the builds later.

Finished all Earth/Gale/Flame/Aurora keys and even got the 3 currently obtainable black keys. Feels good.
Finished all missions, got Lakshmi, awakened her to 2* and directly level 40, I'm 100% done with the story.

Half NRG too good.

Daily got me Beach Time Fina. Huh, I was kinda just doing dailies for the heck of it and didn't actually expect to get her. Guess I'll stop now.

Enhanced Aileen chews through the current JP Raid because the boss is a machine. She gets 75% more damage against it on top of her normal chain. It's pretty wild. If you toss a machine killer materia on her, oh boy.

I really got to start making a few more Machine Killers. Do we ever get a recipe for it or is it exclusive to Edgar? I have 7 Edgars I could farm. If I pair them up I could get another 3 more on top of the one I currently own.

Edgar exclusive but probably will show up on different gear or as an event reward at some point.

Machines, surprisingly, shows up often so it's a good killer to have.

Nah, it's a craftable weapon from the Raid. I'm having awful luck pulling her Moogles, so she is still at 11% (while Prompto's Moogle is already at 40% -___-). She has a shit load of ATK passives, that's why she is so powerful.

The good news is, I can already do the third level on my own, so farming the coins should be muuuuch easier now.

I know a lot of people were dissing Aranae's sprite in the announcement, but how does it look in motion? Though I'm personally way more interested in best boy Prompto whenever this hits GL.

I was the first one to say her iddle animation was trash, but in motion she is fantastic. She even removes the helmet during the victory, pure waifu material.

I thought Onion Knight was going to be the next "Orlandu" and just completely out do him. With higher combo chains and a higher damage modifier on his attacks, it looked like he was just better in every way. But you guys are claiming the imperil type attacks that come along with something like Divine Ruination are more important.

I like the idea of having a really powerful neutral chain damage attack that Onion Knight gets, because then I will never have to worry about an enemy being strong against it. (except physical resist stuff I suppose).
