I want to remove the Eternal Souls, as I realized that I cant special summon Dark Magician girl or Dark Magician of chaos with it and just Dark Magician, I think that will be hard to pull off in a dark magician girl deck >.<

I'm building a sidedeck so I can change my maindeck into an exodia deck in the second game. This is what I have so far.
5 Exodia
1 Upstart Goblin
3 Hand Destruction
3 Jar of Avarice
My maindeck already has 3 Accumulated Fortune, 3 Reckless Greed, 3 Jar of Greed, 3 Legacy of Yata-Garasu, 1 One Day of Peace, 3 Pot of Duality and 3 Cardcar D. Any suggestions for the last slots in the sidedeck?

It's also a good idea to have Incarnate so you have some attacking in case things go sour. With Link Summoning slowing the game down, Exodia will probably make a comeback.
Also Maxx C, cuz of course.

Wow, I didn't realize the Magician Girl theme was actually like, good. Didn't really look into it too much and sort of thought of it as a cool throwaway theme.
Maybe I should actually play the game lmao.

they have some nice effects, which can catch your opponent off guard
things get a bit dicey if your opponent chooses not to attack, but cards like battle mania can help with it
Kiwi is pretty amazing for OTKs xD
Think about it, their requirements are just any number of monsters. Even with the Extra Zone limitation decks that spam lots of monsters for Synchro and Xyz just need to make 1 or 2 less Synchro or Xyz in favor of some Links or just ditch the Synchros/Xyz and use only Link but they will still get a board full of Extra Deck cards.
Pendulum can still spam 5 monsters if they come from the hand, so they just need to set up 1 good link or a recycle strategy (Like what I will do with Oafdragon Magician for my Odd-Eyes deck) to get cards in your hand you might not get 5 free monsters a turn without a Link on your field, but 2 or 3 is still really fast.
Yesterday I played an Infernity deck that gave exactly 0 fucks about Links, dude had a Void Ogre Dragon, Hundred-Eyed Dragon and 2 Firewall Dragons in his first turn.
The "but it's slowing the game" narrative is people who either think Konami can do no wrong, or think links will exist in vacuum where summon-from-deck heavy decks are not a thing

I have been very vocal about my dislike of Konami nerfing every mechanic to make Links look better.
It's just an inconvenience that is not slowing the game or marking it better, its just there to make the new cards more sellable.
And the worst part is that, having a mechanic that requires you to pay attention to where you place your cards is super fun, like I love playing with Links, Decode Talker is mah boi.
But they could and should have been added as another option, not as the only one.
If the Extra Monster Zone was a "Link Zone" where you must place your first Link Monster and start building a chain of Links based on their arrow placement it would've been much better.
But keep the Pendulum Zone nerf, that shit should've been like that day 1.

How are you playing with Links, btw? I thought it doesn't come out in TCG until July. Do you have the OCG cards?
They're in duel simulators like DuelingBook and YGOPro.
I do have 2 OCG Decode Talkers, but no one wants to play with them IRL xF

Either way: This Link Monster stuff sounds like it can help my DDD deck a bit. Just remove a few Synchros and XYZs.
Same toxic wasteland as Dueling Network, but now you can pay to have Hentai as your avatar.

Moderation seems non-existent in DuelingBook,at least in Dueling Network there was a bit of control. I remember getting banned for saying GX was shit in a duel note lol.

I tried ygopro but it crashes a lot on my mac >.<
I decided to go through all of my old TCG stuff to find something to do, and besides finding a ton of unsorted DBZ cards (the Score one) and an Ani-Mayhem SS Goku card, I found like 2 card boxes full of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

Never used. Straight into Hard Protectors. I was the only kid within 100 miles to get the game at the time to get the Promos. The game got a reprint with different promos. I know I bought those on eBay, but I forget what they were.
Anyways...I'm just sorting through my DBZ CCG (the Score one) cards since that's by FAR the most I have. That game had too many fucking promos and subsets and other crap. It's insane. Fun game, but poor management ruined it for a lot of people.
To this day I haven't seen a game as mismanaged as Duel Masters
Galaxy Breakers or whatever the guys that destroyed all your opponent's shields just by touching the field were ridiculous
And Psychic Creatures are everything old-school players accuse Synchros and Xyz to be when they're not.
Imagine a card that works like an extra deck monster, except they have ANOTHER Card on their flipside, and when things start going wrong you simply flip your card to an even more OP version with a laughable cost.

recentlly started playing Yugioh again and for the first time, went to my local's tournaments , first time I think I did very good with a 3-1 ( last game was against a buster blader player...and i play invoked blue eyes, so...)
This saturday however my deck stoped working after the second match (first two against PSY and Spiral phantasm ) my draws were were ass and my lack of archtypes knowledge really showed, last games were against satellarknight and majespecter (the majespecter player rekt me like really hard, the match was over in less than 10 minutes) and i ended placing 7th : /
I think that beside my lack of knowledge, the fact that i suck at shufling is the worst.

Can someone recommend me a budget deck for getting into the physical card game? Thinking under $50. I literally don't want to invest too much into this due to my small local scene for the game.
I have bought a World Superstars and Secrets of Eternity Super Edition Booster boxes on the very cheap in the past and would prefer cards used from those sets if possible.
also have a Geargia Rampage and Yuya & Declan Structure Deck i can pull cards out of or upgrade.

I would go for a Pendulum Magician deck.
Everything was recently reprinted so it's cheap and they are not that affected by the Link Summon rules coming later on.
So buy the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck
Solid choice. Dinosaurs are pretty good, just 3 structure decks. It's not True kings/draco but the deck is strong and consistent.
Am i using the structure deck as is? Why is there never a deck list or good desk list resource for anything Yugioh around but there is for every other TCG?
I looked up a Youtube video and Noble Knights apparently can be built for under $50

Yeah these are great reprints. Omega is long over due in my deck as I make Lv 8 Synchros easily.

Crystal Wing is in the Battles of Legends too, that'd be great for your Tzolkin deck if you haven't gotten any yet
I wonder if there will be more variants of him, we already have Encode Talker, they could always make a ton like Utopia but Firewall Dragon is the real ace monster
