Y'know, thinking of zombies...

I thought i'd really be into them, seemed like a cool concept to make a story off of.

Turns out I only really like the Dawn of the Dead remake and kinda 28 Days Later. I think other zombie movies are boring as hell. Zombies are only scary to me when they're running.

Why does it seem like you guys/gals age group is scared so much of competition?

When I was y'alls age and even younger honestly most of our time was taken up by someone saying, "I'm better than you and I can prove it" and another one of us saying, "do it then"

Where has that mentality gone?

Competition is my drive and motivation. I think it depends. Part of that, for me, comes from my background in sports. Second, because of family I grew up with. Whether it was a video game, or 1v1 to 11, I was and am still always in it. I leave it all out there. If it’s an L? I’ve got work to do. The end.

The only zombie movies/shows I ever liked are Return of the Walking Dead, Day of the Dead, and Zombi. And I can't even rewatch two of those because they fuck me up too much. I think zombies are a shitty monster.
Train to Busan is pretty great. A Korean flick that you can watch on Netflix right now.

Going to try Marvel Heroes Omega just because.

The Mist isn't bad. It's just not flashy. It's got potential for some fucked up shit if they have the stones to dig deep for it.

Marvel Heroes is a fun ass game. My top MMO's:

Secret World Legends
Marvel Heroes Omega
Phantasy Star Online 2
Final Fantasy XIV

Did I really just download Tinder and Bumble?

siiiiiiiigh

gonna let them sit there until I'm ready to do this online dating thing again. Haven't done this for several years

fake edit: I need a Facebook account for Bumble? Not happening then...

I saw it was, but I can't get up the interest to watch another zombie anything ever again.
It's pretty neat. Unlike most zombie flicks where the main character becomes more and more of a monster to survive, the zombie apocalypse actually makes the protagonist a more caring person and a better father. The zombies are dangerous and people turn within minutes. This is the first zombie film where the zombies are focused on spreading the virus and don't actually eat people.

The show looks Under the Dome tier tbh. I have no faith anyone on that team is going to dig deep.

Zombie movies huh?
Shaun of the Dead
Night Of the LIving Dead
Return of the Living Dead
Dawn of The Dead(78/04)
Dead Alive
Planet Terror
And hopefully Train to Busan is good as well. Haven't had time to watch it but from what I gather people really like it.

It went away when it was important to make everyone feel like I winner I guess? When every kid got a same size trophy so to speak.

Shit forget that! Good film

That's an interesting take on zombies. I'm mildly interested now.

You might be right. After 4 episodes though, I wasn't completely checked out like I was with Under the Dome. That shit was straight trash. This premise has something going for it, I just don't think that they can stretch it for too long. They've gone as far as to prove that violence against anyone is fair game with the latest episode.

Good, right?

Pretty much.

Can you believe a month ago Wonder Woman was my favorite comic book movie?

I would believe it.

I don't even know why I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought that they'd sit on it for a while.

Lol I remember a thread that came out way before the movie, and uhh, people were not pleased. Even my friend wasn't pleased because of the precious "comic accuracy", and I had to sit his ass down for a long ass talk as to why it is perfectly fine to make her black.

Sure, but when they did we just accepted it. If Tommy proved he was the best at Madden well then you handicapped his ass until you could beat him.

There wasn't any Shame in being beaten, you just went back in the lab and worked on it until you could, then you wore the crown for your tenure.

I see what you're getting at. I should take a baseball bat to ol' Tommy's knees. Good lookin' out.

Zendaya was the best part of the movie *by far*. She fucking killed everything. Oh and in case anyone was wondering, what happened in the last scene before credits is happening. They aren't gonna head fake or roll that back.

And seriously? How fucking refreshing was it to have such a diverse cast?

See, this is why I like you. I loved her so damn much. I think my favorite scenes were
the ones about the slaves, her drawing people in despair, and the one where she gives a middle finger to Peter when he arrives at Homecoming, that last one completely random af lmfao
The slow burn approach with her character is painful in that we didn't get more scenes with her, but damn, I cannot wait to see her.

And seriously? How fucking refreshing was it to have such a diverse cast?

Very.

Amazing. We had so many diverse characters in the cast it was truly a breath of fresh air for me. And makes me even more excited for Black Panther.

Also, are you talking about "that scene"? The scene where (spoilers)
Aunt May walks in on Peter with the Spider-Man costume on??

Let's not lose our heads now. She was great, in a sea of great. But her role was a bit role with setups for the future. She wasn't plot specific, so no. Not the best part at all.

Yea that's fair, but I don't blame him for loving the performance so much lol

Yea that scene.

Spider-Man is top 3 MCU

It's the best for me. It feels so long ago now where I was kind of "meh" about seeing it. As in, I knew it'd probably be good, but all the seemingly spoilery trailers just kind of made me want to get over with it.

Good reminder that we need to be cool on dropping quotes and other spoilers in here.

True.

lol I mean I know where you're coming from with that. I'll stick with one aspect of excellence in a sea absolutely full of it.

Yes. I think someone in here can't see it yet, so I'm going to all allusion mode.

Okay, just wanted to be sure. And sorry to those who haven't seen the movie yet. Stay strong, the wait is almost over for you.
