Holy shit, first time I truly disliked Goku in like... ever!! When Kale went super ultra saiyan pissed off mode I actually was rooting for her hoping it could kick Goku's ass. Goku is going full annoying on this arc tbh I don't remember him being like this in DBZ... He has always been a careless guy but this behavior IMHO went to a whole new level to the point of disliking him, especially at the end of the episode how he just goes with his "n__n" behavior ruining all the tension between Jiren and Hit. The only weak thing was the animation once again felt a little off but oh well. Looking forward to next episode!

-Zamasu decides to use Universe 12th's time machine...which may or may not still exist? why didn't he do this in the first place?
-They ignore the part of Beerus creating a new timeline (even if mentioning it), and instead Trunks and Mai go back to their timeline, but before Babidi and Dabura arrived. they are counting on Beerus to eliminate Zamasu when the time comes which is...flimsy planning at best. obvs this Trunks can handle Dabura with no problem, but still
so there will be 2 Trunks and 2 Mais, but they will be the older ones
-Kaiohshin offers Trunks and Mai to go live in the supreme kai planet, like Kami did for Goku and Chichi once, so that's cool. Trunks refuses tho...and Goku is puzzled at the refusal?
-Pilaf straight up being an underling to Bulma's scientific studies is interesting

The first episode was a mistake, since 5 people targeted them, and then they forgot about all of that.
Since then the plan's been working. But it makes every other universe look like idiots for not doing the same thing.

You realize there's still 40 some minutes left in the tournament right? He's one of the strongest guys playing it smart, which will likely factor more into the end game.

There are 2 female saiyans.
The one in question is a Legendary SSJ, which is what Broly was.
We don't know how strong her base is, we just know she's too scared to fight in her base, but that doesn't factor into her power since LSSJ isn't a multiplier. So we don't really know how much of a jump it was.
Gohan's back. He's had 5 really great episodes, all of them post episode 70 of Super.
He had a rough start in Super, but knowing what happens post 90, which was his best episode, I'd say the development's of prior episodes was worth it.

Not even that. I didn't mind that part. It makes sense as being an erase the universe offense. Then again so does multiplying yourself and abusing time and threatening all of existence.
I mean overall character development. So many things were explained. Did you see
Vegeta's expression when Bulma embraced him? Did you see Pilaf's question to adult Mai? Zamasu having his own time machine and it was explained in a panel that Gowasu told him about it.

I think it fits with the characterization of Zeno being a petty child who goes on universe destroying temper tantrums.(though im not sure if the manga said as much about Zeno as the anime did)
it gives more context to why Beerus and even Whis are deathly afraid of Goku going anywhere near Zeno if it's that easy to set him off.

The thing is, I don't see a reason why it would be weaker. We don't have a gauge on how powerful berserk is seeing how the only thing to phase her was a well timed and placed sucker punch from someone GoD level. Having that power but also being aware of your surroundings and having control over it would mean that THAT might not have happened and she would automatically look "stronger" just for reacting to it.
To me it's like Gohan's hidden power -> Mystic Gohan. He doesn't become weaker than his rage outburst self just because he now has access to all that hidden power. Outside of Caulifla trying to recreate SS2 I don't think anyone has unlocked a new form that's weaker than something they did before.
Assumed Incredible Hulk mechanics. Hulk's strength is directly proportional to his anger. Calmer Hulks are less strong. Furthermore, anger increases power for SSJ, as we've seen many times -- Goku Black also states this.
"Full potential" and "limits" are kind of nebulous, or at the very least so circumstantial as to be fleeting or transient.

The Zamasu arc was handled a lot better in the manga, IMO. The ending was stupid but at least less stupid than the weird CG "sky zamasu thing"

Of course anger gives power boost. Geet's "Quake of Fury" is basically his version of KK. Thing is I don't think the main power of Kale's berserk comes from anger. I think Kale's true power is the LSSJ "limitless Power" that can be tapped into when she goes into this form.
Seeing this as "her" power and not a trait directly tied to Berserk makes it so that it makes sense for Caulifla to think she has all this potential. Cause she may have done something before that shows this limitless power but can't bring herself to dig into it to do anything if it's not a personal out burst so far.
If I'm right then when she does go into her new form she'll basically be that strong but controlled and not all wild mode. And because she's more controlled she probly wouldn't tank hits for no reason but would also be aware enuff to not accidentally ring out her team so it wouldn't seem as destructive.
But who knows, maybe it is tied to that form.

Kale is pretty much Caulifla's Gohan in terms of her self-esteem issues and Caulifla herself having unflappable confidence in her potential.

yeah that should hopefully be the last of Broly's greatest hits, give Kale that confident slimmed down form and then we'll get somewhere. I don't even mind the berserker form, they're just being horrible with it by copying Broly's moves so much.
Thats literally what the plan is. Stay in a defensive position and let them come to you. Never fight one on one. etc...

Do people agree to the speculation that Goku will become sinister/'evil' at the climax of the tournament? Due to various characters citing him as evil, but also the opening showing him with a smirk behind red energy, and a recent comment in V-Jump mentioning that the poster with his back exposed implies that things are going to get bad.

Also, I just thought, Goku could have avoided the Cell saga entirely.
"Oh Vegeta what are you doing you're too slow" and he waits there doing nothing.
While all he had to do was teleport next to Piccolo when he was fighting Cell / after he got blasted by cell.
Then teleport Cell at the end of the world, go back to Piccolo, tell everyone to run, Cell can't feel the androids, then Vegeta gets out.
But nah he had to wait and do nothing, the sadistic fuck.
