I can see a scenario he wins the belt but Mr. Money in the Bank cashes in right after.

They had some pretty awesome matches against the Usos. But zero storyline work or character development, so people didn't care.

Lol also yeah they just stopped putting them on TV for weeks at a time.

The build will no doubt be awful. Guy who sucks at promos vs. guy with poor English. The anti-American shtick makes no sense for this feud but they'll probably do it anyway because it's all Vince knows.

Can't wait to see Nakamura's American flag pants at Summerslam.

Do you guys think commercials neuter matches? Like imagine if the G1 were televised and there were 1-2 commercial in the middle of all the matches. Would that result in more headlock spots?

How often have we had of these in the WWE?

Rock vs Austin (not the first time)
Warrior vs Hogan
Shawn vs Hogan
Shawn vs Angle
Shawn vs Taker
Shawn vs Bret

I see a pattern. But yeah Cena had a few. Cena vs Punk. Cena vs Bryan.

That was Stone Cold vs The Rock in a nutshell.

And then when Vince did make it about faces and heels, with that nonsense heel turn from Austin at WM17, it immediately sucked all the air right out of it. In the bigger picture, that was the beginning of the downturn for WWE.

That botched exploder looked nasty, if that was anyone else but Cena that would have been career ending. I kind of blamed Nak for that cuz he should have been able to call an audible there and turned it into a backdrop knowing that he couldnt give Cena that extra boost needed to flip Cena completely over his head.

Only good thing about Austin's heel turn was when he beat Cole's ass.

Austin's heel turn at WM17 ruins that feud and ruins WM17 for me.

Actually I think the Rock/Austin WM17 feud in general could have been better. There was also the whole shoehorning Debra into it part
