It still felt like a term people wanted to be related to the Kai's, having some special property with it coming from a Kai, something the form clearly wasn't.

Since Super, I feel like there have been many people using mystic with the intentions of it being retconed into god ki, which is what I mainly meant by that comment.

Cartoon Network picked up the series and is going to fully support the LA release! The plan is to have a new episode per day from Monday to Friday at 11:00 pm (great timing!) while repeating the episode at 5:00 pm the next day. Then the Saturdays we have a marathon of the 5 episodes of the week from 10:00 to 12:00!

The problem is that Yamamuro tried to correct his awful Goku design with the new Gohan, but it seems most animators interpret it really badly and Gohan ends up looking terrible half the time.

At least he got rid of the glasses, I really couldn't tolerate those Gohan faces in that costume man.

It's not just Goku's body, Black has Zamas' unique god ki. This gives him in the anime instant Zenkais. His power level keeps rising in response to losing a fight. He and Future Trunks were fighting for over a year and it's stated that at the start Trunks could handle him but he kept getting stronger and stronger and eventually outpaced Trunks.

Watched a couple more clips of Castañeda using the Goku Black voice (Please keep the Goku Black name for the dub, don't you fucking ruin it!), it seems he's kind of going for the same Schemmel vibe... I hope it really delivers once the dub reaches that part, I certainly wouldn't want another Bale Goku.

All the Hell stuff in DBZ isn't canon to Super, since Frieza was wrapped up in a cocoon after being killed by Future Trunks.
Also I believe none of the Hell stuff is in the manga.

I have a soft spot for mystic gohan because of how he got his power unlocked (from magic)

but Ultimate Gohan is way better.

Every single scene of hell in Z is filler. F was the first time we saw the "canon" hell, though as expanded upon in the current arc it seems that people get their own personal hells to make them repent.

I am catching up quickly on the old episodes. Just watched the part where they are recruiting the team for the tourney and it's utterly ridiculous how thry picked Krillin and Roshi over Goten and Trunks. There's absolutely no way Trunks and Goten can be beaten in any kind of fight by those two.

It's not about strength. Goten and Trunks had almost 0 experience in real battles. They also have literally no technique of their own. They are also very weak despite being more powerful, so they have 0 use whatsoever.

Fusion I guess, but ssj3 lasts only 5 minutes.

Yeah, but I can't blame any of them half assing the same lines they've been repeating for years.

Even the first Xenoverse made Chris Ayres sound like a monotone robot, and he killed it in Super. There's just no voice direction in the Xenoverse games like there is in the actual show.

I think the Xenoverse games just hand a VA an entire script with little to no context or direction and then tell them to go at it. And we end up with a big mess at times where lines slightly vary from the subtitles because the VAs say something that sounds more natural/true to the character but the text isn't changed to reflect it. It's kind of a shame and makes the end result feel more sloppy than need be.
