What did Maximillian do?
Also said the word on stream. Dunno if he's used it since that incident.

Yeah, intentional or not this topic feels like a pointless magnet for PC outrage.
It's not to justify PewDiePie's act there but but this news seem like it can hold much water for debate after the other shit he's manage to get out of.
Well, I don't know what it takes to get banned from YouTube, but if half of the content creators have been making Nazi jokes and using the n-word like that, then sure, I think there should be action taken against all of them by the platform holders.
using hitler propaganda, saying racial slurs...between him and Maximilian i'm wondering what these guys really think...casual racism is very dangerous
Are we sure it's him? Multiple people are on the stream party chat.
Not defending him btw. Just want to make it's him talking.

The way he said it was what surprised me. I mean had he said it casually in replacement of the word "bro" I would have moved along but he actually says "fucking n*****". I don't even hear black people use it in that way.
Tbh I don't think a knee-jerk reaction like what Felix had because he was in the moment doesn't constitutes his account being closed. Get invested in a game, say some stupid shit when your filter isn't a priority. He'll most likely just apologize about it and move on.

I'm always curious about the crossover in alt-right ideas and youtubers. It's a chicken/egg situation. Are they always like this, and the truth just eventually comes out? Or do they get some fame and some money and decide that they are better than other people? Or maybe they're even glib enough to think that the alt-right are the best group to take money from by acting it up?
It's strange.
why are people so scared and offended by a simple word ?
I'm a big fan of context if you're going to use any kind of tasteless language like that, and well, the context here is just offensive really. There's not even a joke that's not meant to offend, it's just flat out calling a dude it.
Blegh. And I know I'll get people who argue with my thoughts on the usage of such vernacular but eh. I don't say it, it's only what I use to judge if it's an acceptable use or not.
Not even Donald Trump is dumb enough to have been caught saying it on a recording like this so recently.
Brands shouldn't be associated with this regardless of what parents do/don't do for obvious reasons.

It's the world we live in, I notice people like to get offended by everything and anything.
Speaking from what I see around me, that's all.

Not only he said it, but the context also is important here: It was definitely meant as a racial slur.
Who says there should be a debate, there's no debating this. It's shitty behaviour and people should know one of the top entertainment personalities in the whole world partakes in it.
So PC outrage has now expanded to thinking white people saying the n word with a hard R in a negative context to thousands of kids is bad lolYeah, intentional or not this topic feels like a pointless magnet for PC outrage.

Context is nearly everything. I mean, in the case of racial slurs, I have a problem with it, even without context. But here, the context is pretty clear: He's using a racial slur and he meant it as a racial slur.
What does your comment have to do with the topic? If you don't like neogaf you can just, ya know, leave.A quick reminder to the people reading this thread that NeoGAF is the most progressive gaming forum on the internet. Yeah.
Was nothing casual about it.Dude casually dropped it like it was nothing.
Cunt.
Calling someone a "fucking n***** " is not the word just slipping out.
How long until the report comes out about him being an alt-right sympathizer?
You gotta be fucking shitting me. Really???
I can't.
why would you say this
the racist are just coming out today.
OR somethings are actually offensive and should be treated as such.
Fuck off for trying to pass of someone using racist language as outrage culture
Hottest of the hot takes, y'all.
Ah, not-racist-just-calling-it-as-I-see-it guy has finally arrived.
How often do you say it?

The n word does not pop out of your mouth by accident. Of all the things that slip out of my mouth by accident, the n word (or any other ethnic slur) is not one of them. It's literally not in my vocabulary.
He accidentally said the word on stream and apologized right away. I don't get how he is in anyway comparable to pewdiepie. Max is a great/nice guy.
Bullshit, we know what it means.
This excuse is fucking stupid. It doesn't excuse you anywhere else in life. People get fired for less and it is precisely because of this attitude that the adpocalypse is happening to content creators. It's bad for business and rightfully so.Tbh I don't think a knee-jerk reaction like what Felix had because he was in the moment doesn't constitutes his account being closed.
